Why does everyone hate jury duty? I like the idea of it. Sign me up, I wanna weigh up a case and make a fair decision, that shit sounds cool

I've been on jury duty twice. Once for a first degree murder trial where a guy shot his girlfriend to death, and once for a trial for a guy who sexually abused multiple daughters over the course of years. Had to hear testimony in court from a 9-year-old about what her dad did to her.

Jury duty is important, but I'd rather I didn't get called again.
