I've always been like this, but it hasn't been a problem until this year. I can't focus on studying at all unless the test is the next day. And even when the test is the next day, I can never stay on task. It used to be ok, but now my classes are much harder than they used to be and I'm falling behind. I feel like I've tried everything. And it isn't even my phone or distractions or anything. I have software downloaded on my computer and on my phone that locks me out of anything other than study materials, but I still find hours passing where I haven't gotten anything done. I will genuinely stare at a wall for an entire hour instead of studying. It's definitely gotten worse this year because I've run into a class that I am just naturally bad at and even when I successfully study for longer than just the night before the test, I get the same bad grades (organic chemistry). I feel so disappointed every time I get a bad grade, but I haven't been able to turn that disappointment into motivation like I sometimes used to. Does anyone have any study techniques that help them stay on task?

I work with a foreign client, and they send the payment through Wise. My bank doesn’t automatically deduct the 5% tax. It just shows as a remittance. I also receive some income from Upwork, which is also not deducted by the bank.

Can I pay the 5% tax myself? Will it show on my PAN?

If yes, how? Do I need to create a payment voucher, or should I file D4? My income doesn’t exceed the D4 threshold, though.

If anyone has done it this way, please share some insights.

1) What is the process for a first-time patient?

2) How crowded is it usually, and how long should I expect to wait if I go through the general OPD?

3) Is it difficult to get a consultation with a good ophthalmologist?

4) I’ve heard a lot about the Premium Clinic. Is it worth it if I want a more thorough consultation with less waiting time?

Hi everyone, I’m already renting a place in Lalitpur, but my landlord and I never made a written agreement. Where can we get a rental agreement prepared, and what is the process?

One of the reason, I want to have a rental agreement is because my employer is asking for my residency proof. I submitted the internet bill but they asked for rental agreement or something similar to that.

Do I need a lawyer or notary, and what documents should both of us bring?

I have been in nepal for about 2 months and I am struggling to find any "grass" ( ifykyk). I have been using grass for around 5 years and I didn't expect moving here to be one of the reasons to stop smoking grass but it appears that i might have too. IF ANYONE knows how to get good quality grass in Kathmandu please let me know, am willing to pay any price.

I’m currently doing my bachelor’s while living at home, and lately I’ve started feeling like I should’ve moved out after +2.

Living away from home gives you a different kind of peace and freedom. Even small decisions become your own. If I want to join a gym, for example, at home it can turn into “just study, that gym isn’t worth it.” And that’s just one example — there are many things like this.

At some point, the same room, same village, and same routine start feeling exhausting. I’ve become more irritated over small things and honestly feel stuck sometimes.

I feel like living on your own forces you to grow — managing yourself, making decisions, dealing with problems, and learning to survive independently.

I know homesickness and the difficulties of living alone are real, but I’m starting to think they’re a small price for the freedom and growth you gain.

For those who moved out after +2, did you feel the same way?

My father runs a clothing business, and logically it seems like I should be helping him and eventually taking responsibility for it. I love my father more than anyone, and I genuinely feel guilty that I haven’t been able to help him much.
The confusing part is that I just can’t make myself consistently work in the business. I don’t know if it’s procrastination, fear of responsibility, or if I genuinely dislike the business. Whenever I think about being involved long-term, I feel suffocated.
At the same time, I spent the last 4 years working on something I was genuinely passionate about, but it still hasn’t produced solid results. So now I feel like I’ve wasted years on that too.
I’m also broke, constantly stressed and overthinking everything. My sleep schedule is messed up, I don’t really have close friends I can call or hang out with, and life feels like it’s becoming smaller and more isolated.
I want to build something of my own, partly because I want independence and don’t want to constantly work under or around my father. But finding an opportunity, deciding what to pursue, and actually executing has been incredibly difficult.
The worst part is the guilt and shame. I love my father deeply, but because I feel like I’m disappointing him, I sometimes can’t even bring myself to properly talk to him.
I know I’m only 23, but right now I genuinely feel behind in almost every area of life—career, money, friendships, and direction.
Has anyone been in a similar position and managed to turn things around? How did you figure out whether you were avoiding something because of fear/procrastination versus genuinely not wanting that path? And where do you even start when multiple parts of your life feel like they’re falling apart at once?

Do you think Nepal should adopt such legislation also? It sounds to me like, forcing the tech companies to add an opt in feature of algorithmic suggestion, would be such a lifesaver.
