Discussion The Giants Are Not A Playoff Team This Season With This Overhyped Coaching Staff

Post image
Upvotes

They will definitely improve, in no way is this a playoff team this year with the cowboys and eagles.

Mainly I made this because their coaching staff isn’t that great, you bring John Harbaugh who couldn’t do anything except blow huge leads even with Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry.

And Matt Nagy who made Mahomes and that chiefs offense look washed. And Brian Callahan who committed terroism in Tennessee the year prior

Also one last thing wide receiver room isn’t that good outside of Malik nabers

Discussion A Friendly reminder that in sports (especially any team sports) it is IMPOSSIBLE to represent the players/data with only 1 kind of stat. This is typically done with rate or index stats, but a bare minimum of a rate stat and cumulative stat is needed to sufficiently represent a player's contributions

Discussion If The Rams Don’t Win The Super Bowl This Year…

Post image
Upvotes

How will it affect Mcvay and Stafford’s legacy? Cause it would be a quite embarrassing and huge stain imo to not with the most gift wrapped sb path ever and the Super Bowl is their own stadium.

Having a very stacked team consisting of kyren williams, Blake corum, Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, Trent mcduffie, Myles Garett, Aaron Donald, Jaylen Watson, etc.

Apparently to the media there’s nothing to lose and they could only gain, but how much help do all time greats to get it done. A lot of players and coaches would kill for this roster and they’ll get pass 1000% for wasting it come January mark my words.

And still be both considered first ballot hall of famers top fifteen or ten all time for choking like usual

Article [O'Connor] John Harbaugh wanted Colin Kaepernick as his QB, and it’s a shame that didn’t happen

Thumbnail

Upvotes

Kaepernick nearly led Harbaugh’s brother, Jim, to the championship in New Orleans on Feb. 3, 2013. That night, he threw for 302 yards and a touchdown and ran for 62 yards and another score. As Kaepernick drove his 49ers down the Superdome field on a potential winning drive that ultimately stalled near the goal line, CBS analyst and former Super Bowl MVP Phil Simms said on the broadcast, “My gosh, I’m really literally mesmerized by some of these passes.”

John Harbaugh wanted whatever that player had left in his arm and legs after the 2016 season. His Ravens quarterback, Joe Flacco, was dealing with a back injury before what would be his final year in Baltimore as the full-time starter.

Ten years after Kaepernick peacefully protested police brutality and the systemic oppression of people of color by refusing to stand for the national anthem, Harbaugh remembered that he was not deterred by the quarterback’s standing as the league’s most polarizing player.

“In all honesty, that wasn’t a factor,” the first-year New York Giants coach told The Athletic. “Yeah, there was conversation that there’s going to be a certain percentage of the fanbase that’s not going to appreciate this, but we decided that wasn’t going to be our driving factor.”

What, then, were the factors driving Baltimore’s interest in Kaepernick in the spring and summer of 2017?

“His talent, and also the fact I had inside information as to who he was from my brother,” Harbaugh said. “We talked a lot about him, and I’d met Kap many times, had numerous conversations with him because of that. We talked about it at length as an organization, and we liked the fit.”

Should the Browns take a flyer on this stud?

- 4x princess auto championships (can win high stakes games)
- leadership mentality, drive, inspiring and great message
- crazy fandom 860,000 fans, insane jersey sale revenue
- related to Terry sawchuck
- can run 25mph
- very strong, sheds tackles
- crazy vision can scan field very fast
- his high intensity game translates well to the NFL: The Titans, Dolphins, Raiders and Cardinals should all start him.

@nicosawchuck

Pretty sure no NFL team has his rights now, only the Winnipeg blue bombers through their Winnipeg rifles program.

"Rice, Moss, Owens, Megatron, Fitz, Hutson, Tim Brown, Harrison, Wayne, Carter, Holt, Bruce, Hopkins, Largent, and Adams are all INARGUABLY better than Brown. That's 15

Then you start getting into where Brown might be with Boldin, Steve Smith, Julio, Lofton, Evans, Irving, and Alworth. That's 8 people for 5 spots and if you kept Brown out of those 5 spots it wouldn't be hard to understand."

lmao these are real people on this subreddit

Discussion the HOF Line is too forgiving for QBs

Upvotes

I saw a headlines for 2027, and Sherman Peterson Gronk and Big Ben.

So 3 first ballot guys (Sherman debatable) against a guy who shouldn't even be a HOfer.

The standards for HOF have to be changed for QBS
