Große Bischofsmütze - Austria

Arguably one of the prettiest mountains in Pongau. I've already thought about it one, or two years ago, but wasn't ready at the time. After a recent trip to Switzerland I finally gathered the confidence, to do it solo.

What equipment did you use? Also what shoes? Are you a good climber? I want to do it myself one day...

I took a rope with harness and ATC, to rappel. Aside from that, just normal hiking gear. My preffered shoes are approach shoes. If you take someone with you, you could also do it as a multipitch, which is what most people do. It is quite well bolted, especially for the grade.
