How do I source Michellin Road 5? Local dealer said that it's not available due to import restrictions

Also do you guys think it has reached end of its life? Clocked 20k kms and the treads have become level with the TWIs in the middle portion of the tyre surface

I clocked 18k and it was done before that🤣

Its hard to source. Found online but too high of a price. They used to be around 11k for each tyre. This year they're over 20k for each. Didn't make sense to me. So i bought Protorque extreme

I am also considering getting Protorq extreme. How's the performance compared to Road 5s?

Grip is as good as michelin imo. Road 5s are somewhat of U shape tyre, takes an effort to lean. But this Protorque is V shaped tyre, just tips in effortlessly.

One thing I've noticed is, protorq tend to not heat up as fast as & not as warm as road5. But grip is still there.

Whoa!! Are there any alternatives that are cheaper and work the same? 19k for these tyres is ridiculous. I got tyres for an RR 310 under 10k
