Those turtles live in a tank only a fraction of a size of their natural habitat size, they are definitely not spoiled. They probably come to the cleaner because otherwise they have nothing to do the whole damn day but to swim in circles…
Swimming around in water we see with our own eyes dirt dissolve in, in an alien tank void of natural vegetation. Scrubbing them is the least they deserve
I was about to say, my local zoo‘s aquarium looks like they copy pasted the ocean floor. This looks like a kid‘s pool. They are probably bored as fuck and the cleaner is the only excitement they get.
I never really understood why people were against zoos until I realised that most zoos aren‘t like the one I‘m used to but much much worse.
