My husband and I ended up (emphasis on ended up) at a random ass no name hotel in the middle of Virginia somewhere a few years ago. It was a sketchy as hell place off the highway but it was like 2 AM, we had three dogs with us and needed a place to stay.

We were in our room getting ready for bed, turned off the lights and lo and behold, someone had used glow in the dark paint and made an entire night sky in that room. I don’t know if the proprietors even knew it was there. It was completely invisible if the lights were on.

As much as that place was creepy, the starts were a welcomed and hilarious sight. I felt just like these kids at 38 or so. Haha. 🤣
