Short history of the forum:

  • I created austrianforum.com in 2005
  • I moved it to Mises.org in 2008 and rebranded at as the Mises Community
  • Mises Institute shut it down in 2013
  • I hosted the archive from ~2020 to 2026
  • I just relaunched the forum at http://forum.freecapitalists.org/

oh wow that brings back memories, I used to lurk the mises forum like crazy in college. never posted much but I read tons of threads there

the fact they preserved all 400k posts is kind of insane. most old forums just disappear into the void one day and thats it

Losing that forum was such a loss. Literally became ancap on those forums.
