"pro life anti trans surgeries for children republican" so, you mean you are dumb?

Honestly where do they get this nonsense of a trans surgery on children? I mean I know... facebook and co. but why would they believe that without questioning?

u/waitingtodiesoon 4d ago

They listened to Donald Trump who claimed you send your boy to school and they come back trans aa a girl.

u/Naltors__Dreamer 4d ago edited 4d ago

Oh sure, they get a 6 hour surgery at school that costs 300 grand, like schools have that kinda money, & a sterile surgical site. And 6 hrs is just the surgery itself, that doesn’t include pre-op, & the week in bed after the surgery, not to mention the need for vaginal dilation🙄 These ppl are so stupid, they really will believe anything he says.

u/grad1939 4d ago

These are the same people that thought kids were shitting in litter boxes at school because they thought furries were taking over. No, the cat litter was either used like sawdust to clean up spills or as an emergency toilet incase of a shooting. It's unbelievable that they are more worried about their children thinking their a dog than their child getting shot in school.

u/getstoopid-AT 4d ago

ok fair point... can't imagine how it must feel to be so full of hatred and anger all the time that the dumbest ideas start to sound plausible enough

u/TjW0569 4d ago

I don't think that they sound plausible. They sound outrageous. And outrage is the fuel that gets their hate motor running.

u/Ras-haad 3d ago edited 3d ago

I heard that story at the time from someone who I know doesn’t think like that, but lives out in Trump country. I knew it was bs the moment they told me, I was like and where exactly did you hear that from? But to be fair I feel like it was at the beginning of the constant deluge of misinformation and straight lies that we’ve become accustomed to.

Similarly, I remember an old regular customer I had at the store I was working in at the time, just making conversation said “Did you hear that Joe Biden is gonna ban light bulbs?” Again, I knew that wasn’t true immediately, I’m like I have no idea what you’re talking about but just based on common sense and my little knowledge I’m going to assume whatever you’re talking about is referring to incandescent light bulbs. I looked it up and that was the case. At the time I just chalked it up to him being old and misunderstanding, but now I realize he was probably watching Fox News and was just repeating exactly what was said.

u/LupercaniusAB 3d ago

Well, we have banned incandescent bulbs (for sale) in California, that may have been what they heard.

u/CMDR_Khayden 3d ago

It's pretty easy. Just look at someone and think they're out to get you. /s

Though in my experience, that was just how I saw Retail Customers cause they're actual pieces of shit regardless of who they are. I'll tell you, being upset, angry, and hating 24/7 is so tiring. I feel better just minding my own business and only throwing back the same attitude I receive. Be a piece of shit to me? I'll be a piece of shit to you. Be nice to me? I'll go the extra mile for you like slip you a discount.

Unluckily, these bastards have an unlimited wellspring of koolaid to slurp from called donnie's tit whenever they start to question anything.

u/Epistatious 4d ago

The same people that believe in 9th month abortion where a Dr will kill a baby that's just been born. They are dumbasses all the way down. Maybe it was lead exposure?

u/ruler_gurl 4d ago

My school nurse had aspirin, a thermometer, a cot, an ice pack, neosporin, bandaids, and a fun book of pictures to test for color blindness. The school also had a small theater but i dinna recall it being a surgical theater.

u/SignalCharlie 3d ago

You mean the school nurse doesn't do these surgeries during recess ?

u/Logistocrate 4d ago

3 grand? I have a friend that's getting bottom surgery in a few months and she's going to be out of pocket 40k on it.

u/Naltors__Dreamer 4d ago

I meant 300 grand 🤦🏻‍♀️

u/Logistocrate 4d ago

Doh! Been there before.

u/HelloThisIsDog666 3d ago

It is amazing how it takes just one minute of thought to realize that on a practical level kids are not getting sex changes at school ... Maga is truly beyond stupid. Perfect marks

u/SwanWeary646 2d ago

But also like, hormones? Do they think it’s one and done? That they can yoink out the gonads and then just swap with another kid?

u/Naltors__Dreamer 2d ago

right, I forgot about that, you need to be on hormones for at least a year.

u/Aes_Should_Die 4d ago

Sure it’s a long more than 3k. Far simpler procedures cost far more.

u/Naltors__Dreamer 4d ago

I meant 300 grand, sorry

u/Aes_Should_Die 4d ago

All good. MAGA probably thinks they just magically happen funded by George Soros or somethin

u/Fishbulb2 3d ago

But Trump also said he didn’t care about them and only wanted their votes? Did they listen to him then? I’m so confused.

u/getstoopid-AT 4d ago

Yeah ok but I would assume that's meant like metaphorical... along the lines of leftist-gay-girl-demonic thoughts implanted into the brain of my to-be-a-strongbearded-man boy and not literally a surgery?!

u/chrissz 4d ago

They don’t know what a metaphor is. Stop giving them credit they don’t deserve.

u/Limo_Wreck77 4d ago

Seriously, who in the actual fuck opens a sentence with that?

Oh yeah, MAGA idiots.

u/Marquar234 4d ago

They always start with a reassurance that they are still a loyal member of the cult.

u/cybah 4d ago

Cuz they are a bot and gotta push the dog whistle talking points

u/tw_72 4d ago

trans surgeries for children

They same place they heard "post birth abortions"

NOTE: Ten years ago, I would not have believed that people could be this stupid. Now, it's just another day...

u/Naltors__Dreamer 4d ago

I know, it’s insane, it’s very rare that someone under 18 gets grs, Drs recommend waiting until adulthood. These ppl are just nuts.

Oh, btw, I’m anti-circumcision, I mean, come on, we shouldn’t be operating on the genitalia of new borns. /s

u/chrissz 4d ago

Why is your last sentence sarcasm? We shouldn’t be mutilating children’s genitalia because of a Bronze Age fairy tale or any other stupid reason.

u/KBWordPerson 4d ago

It’s right up there with „post birth abortions“ which is another made up thing this guy probably thinks happens.

u/nogoodnamesarleft 3d ago

I really want to ask these people, out of genuine curiosity with no malice "so which is it, are you stupid or a liar? Do you actually believe this thing that obviously doesn't happen or do you know it is fake but realize it's easy to rile up stupid people with obvious lies? Because it has to be one of these"

Ok, maybe with a little malice

u/getstoopid-AT 3d ago

Feel you.. it makes me furious sometimes.

u/enfuego138 4d ago

I mean, I know we’d like to pretend that it’s otherwise, but this and fear of brown people is a big part of why his biggest supporters voted for him. They’re so proud of it too…

u/Glad_Stay4056 4d ago

Well, they had a booked shoved in their face at the age of 2 and told to never question anything in it.

u/Ebi5000 3d ago

It is just modern day blood lible. They just need something to demonize Trans people and their allies.

u/Senior-Albatross 4d ago

Yes, they are very dumb. That's by far the simplest explanation that fits everything.

u/Ras-haad 3d ago

Right I’m just like what even is that? Basically they have to give their bonafides any time they make a statement that could possibly be construed as criticism of “dear leader”

u/incognegro1976 2d ago

Because their IQs are in the single digits.

u/queensarkas 2d ago

Anger comes from a sense of injustice. When faced with unwanted truth, a man's ego will bring him to fury. It is sadly much easier to get mad about something than it is to do your own fact checking. I think we've been taught to know better. Trust, but verify.

u/Skullrogue 1d ago

Its not even about that. Theyre only ever against things. They have no hope, no vision for the future, just a list of things they hate, enemies, and things they fear.

u/DAJ-TX 1d ago

And trump claims his opponents are low IQ…

u/PikachuPho 19h ago

Lol exactly. Why should we be woke for someone anti woke? They should pull up 'em bootstraps and serve their dear leader. It's what they voted for after all!

u/texas130ab 4d ago

So soldier morale doesn't mean anything. MAGA logic. But these are the same people smarter than medical doctors.

u/Musicman1972 4d ago

"Support the Troops" is as empty a slogan as you can hear uttered.

The more it's invoked the less I think the person saying it gives a damn.

u/Significant_Cup_238 4d ago

"Support the Troops" is their way of saying "Never question our wars". In 2003 I had several people (who never served) disparage my patriotism and accuse me of sabotaging our troops for saying the Iraq war is fucking stupid. I was enlisted at the time.

u/DisastrousMarzipan74 4d ago

Yup, this. I recently chewed out my uncle because his "thank you for your service" is just a passive aggressive way to cover over all the other shitty things he supports.

u/Significant_Cup_238 4d ago

"Thank you for your service" used to piss me off so much. "Serve yourself if you support these wars" was what I wanted to bite back.

u/KnightofNoire 4d ago

They are the idiots who think morale can be fixed by being manly enough.

They probabaly think if they are in the army, they will show those pussies how a real man work.

u/HunMyy 4d ago

"The army is not for me bro, I would have hit the drill instructors if they yelled at me, bro" (would have gone AWOL within a week)

u/9peppe 4d ago

MAGA logic calls for pre WW2 isolationism to come back, withdrawal from Europe, massive reduction in force. It's going to look fun when China eats the world. Or worse, France. :D

u/KnightofNoire 4d ago

Their pride won't allow China to be number 1 so paradoxially they want to be isolated but still want to be number 1.

u/9peppe 4d ago

Their Pacific strategy should be much different than the Atlantic one. I'm not really sure how they're supposed to work together.

u/crawling-alreadygirl 4d ago

Generous of you to assume there's a strategy here

u/9peppe 4d ago

Of course there's a strategy. Even hanging out of a plane to take a dump in the ocean is a strategy. It makes no sense, but strategy it is.

u/EcstaticPlankton8621 4d ago

When I was in the Navy 20 years ago (damn Im getting old) it was well known that carrier deployments were often the longest as they usually got extended to 9 months or a year. What was different was they were supplied well and didn't live in filth.

u/jungle_cat187 4d ago

Much easier to get quality food when your supply bases weren’t bombed by Iran.

u/utterlyuncool 4d ago

But why would Iran do that? Last I checked you were not at war, your own VP said so

u/BigBoyYuyuh 4d ago

Cause they hate our freedom! /s

u/42LSx 4d ago

*freedom to touch a pool in a public space not included

u/HunMyy 4d ago

On the other hand SA-ing minors and women without consequences is somehow included

u/Senior-Albatross 4d ago

Did they even say "thank you"?

u/Thrillho_Sudaca 3d ago

Probably wasn't even wearing a suit...

u/No_Philosopher_1870 4d ago edited 4d ago

They should have increased the prepositioned reserves held at other sites once they started bombing, or even in advance of it. The necessary food and other supplies would be that much closer to where they were needed.

u/nada-accomplished 4d ago

C'mon man you think the people in charge should actually know what they're doing? Liberal woke nonsense

u/MinimumAnalysis5378 4d ago

Hegseth doesn't think logistics fit in with "warrior culture" because he doesn't understand them, and he fires everyone who tells him his ideas are bad.

u/PrudentQuestion 4d ago

Loggies are POGs so their job can’t be important /s

u/Boring-Philosophy-46 4d ago

These people bombed Iran without increasing the strategic oil supply first and you think they remembered to bring the sandwiches?

u/Armodeen 4d ago

Cmon dude they didn’t plan anything. This war is pure vibes

u/Naltors__Dreamer 4d ago edited 4d ago

Don’t you remember, Dump said the war would be over in a matter of weeks. Did you watch the vid he made the first day? He expected Iran to unconditionally surrender, allow him to pick their next supreme leader, & for the IRGC to surrender their weapons.

u/Inevitable-Local7847 1d ago

Will he ever learn that “the power of positive thinking” doesn’t fucking work? It didn’t work with Covid and it’s not going to work with Iran.

u/jungle_cat187 4d ago edited 4d ago

Diego Garcia is close enough.

Edit /s

u/grad1939 4d ago

Supplies? That's woke lib propaganda! Everyone knows real sailors survive off whiskey and lard just like in the movies. And they can just catch fish in the ocean. What are they stupid? /s

u/Sad_Investment5568 4d ago

Whiskey and lard—The breakfast of champions!

u/Calaigah 4d ago

Can’t even have whiskey and lard these days without getting a gay boyfriend. If it happened to me it’ll happen to you!

u/lowercasenameofmine 2d ago

Let's take a moment and mourn the fact that MAGA actually says shit like that to the point that an obvious "I am being sarcastic and mocking them" is needed.

u/Significant_Cup_238 4d ago edited 4d ago

Yup, I was there with you. 2.5 years at sea during a 4 year span while fighting two wars. At no point did we lack supplies or the material condition of the ship suffer the way it did on the Lincoln. Why? As incompetent as the Bush administration was, they left competent military leadership in place who knew how to keep logistics going during a war.

u/WulfwoodsSins 4d ago

We also got port calls every once in a while. 268 days without setting foot on land is insane.

u/jsmith_zerocool 4d ago

All these maga dudes think it’s all steak and lobster on board, anything else is fake news

u/Naltors__Dreamer 4d ago

yeah, the steak & lobster is for Hegseth, his friends, his staff & the joint chiefs

u/jsmith_zerocool 4d ago

I have never met a less informed group of people than your average MAGA voter, especially Boomers. They are so disconnected from the world they only believe what they read on Facebook and see on Fox, it’s astonishing. It would be even more interesting if they weren’t actively destroying our country.

u/blackcain 4d ago

Trapping Hegseth on that aircraft carrier where he eats all the good food is a good way to get accidently fall overboard.

u/DisastrousMarzipan74 4d ago

Anyone in the Navy will have a visceral negative reaction to steak and lobster! The only time S&L comes out is when they are about to announce something bad like another extension or a canceled port call. I have watched sailors walk into the mess, see S&L, yell FUCK, and walk out refusing to eat.

u/DrunkenBandit1 1d ago

My ship had S&L every Sunday, I just assumed that's because it was a gator and everything was always going to suck

u/warrenao 4d ago

Plus the Secretary of Defense wasn't a drunk chud closet case.

u/ElephantBackground81 2d ago

I never had a deployment longer than 6 months. Obama had the Navy running like clock work back then.

u/Naltors__Dreamer 4d ago

I’ve noticed that the war vets who claim the sailors are just whiners bc they themselves had long deployments in Iraq or Af, are from the army. No naval vets have said anything like that. Being on a ship that can’t go to port for maintenance, food, leave, is just different. In the army if your latrine is blown up you can take a crap in the bushes, it’s not so easy for sailors.

Plus ships, even in time of war, aren’t supposed to be at sea for nearly a year, they need regular maintenance. Most Navy ships are deployed for 6-7 months, so sailors don’t expect to be out at sea without ever docking at all for over 9 months, they didn’t sign up for that. We’ve seen the vid of the Lincoln coming to dock in Thailand, the ship looks like a rust bucket. Would these MAGA idiots wanna take the Lincoln into battle when the ship & the planes are rusting away to nothing?

u/IhasCandies 4d ago edited 4d ago

The Army veterans that claim people are “whiners” because they had long deployments are full of shit multiple ways. First off, people did nothing but complain in the Army. They whined and complained about everything, all the time. They were especially whiney when their duty was extended against their will. I’ve never heard so many complaints in my life as I did during 8 years in the Army.

Second of all, any Army veteran that talks shit about someone else’s deployment, only does so because of their own personal insecurity. They either spent their entire deployment in cake city watching bootleg DVDs and monitoring a radio knowing full well they were never in any danger. Or they left early, leaving the rest of their task force in the lurch.

u/mdp300 4d ago

I was never in the military, but what I gather is that the carrier may be deployed for 9 months, that means that it's away from its home port. It doesn't mean it goes that entire time without docking somewhere to take a break and resupply.

u/WulfwoodsSins 4d ago

Used to be you'd get a port call every 30 days or so. For perspective, that's about 8 port calls the Lincoln missed.

u/Naltors__Dreamer 4d ago

actually, the Iranians bombed all the US bases in the area, so the ships couldn’t dock for any reason. Hence the rust

u/keatech 4d ago

Even the Russians can cycle crews out, and if you dont like them as an example; in WW2 ,an "actual" war not what ever this is, crews were cycled out.

Burnt out sailors make mistakes, sailors who make mistakes might not come home

u/Naltors__Dreamer 4d ago

Nor their ships

u/Ebi5000 3d ago

One of the big lessons of WW1 was to cycle your troops. Even late in the war germany did it. It is one of the major reasons why it didn't collapse like in WW1

u/Gunfighter9 4d ago

I was at sea from 80-89 and we never had a cruise longer than 6 months. And the carrier got the same liberty ports as we did. Except they went to much better ports.

My dad was an aviator in WW2 in the Atlantic and then a carrier qual in the Pacific and he told me his longest stretch at sea was 63 days. They went to Australia, and spent 5 days import. It was the same, load supplies and unload damages until 1500, Liberty call at 1600 and start again the next day.

He was onboard the USS Franklin when she got hit by the kamikaze. He was transferred off at Utilhi Atoll.

u/grad1939 4d ago

Problem is they never read history and think soldiers are just like G.I Joe in the movies. Soldiers with poor supplies and low morale are not a good combo.

u/cybah 4d ago

Yeah this is what happens when you put a Call of Duty addicted ex Fox News host in charge of the military. He gets to go home and sleep in his own bed like nothing happened cuz he thinks this is a game where once you close the lid on the laptop, it’s over.

u/Sintriphikal 4d ago

So your pops got off after the kamikaze hit but before the lone dive bomber hit? Lucky man. Had he stayed with the ship, he might not have come back.

u/CreepyFun9860 4d ago

Why does every maga moron think tons of kids are just going into gender reassignment surgery?

The way they act its like its happening every 5 seconds

u/Splashy01 3d ago

MAGA in chief really knows how to exploit people’s fear/hate for these issues regardless of how small of a problem they are.

u/AdhesivenessUnfair13 4d ago

Dude got called a RINO and a bootlicker in the same post, oooof lol

u/Artichokiemon 4d ago

Getting it from both sides. I hope this type of shit drives them back to not voting at all

u/lawiseman 4d ago

Never would I have dreamed that someone with a Trump profile picture would nitpick about a comma splice.

u/DisastrousMarzipan74 4d ago

If you look at the language of an abusive relationship it matches really well with how MAGAts treat each other. This person said something that hurt the ego of the others. They respond with screaming insults. Yes, we can look at those comments and say they are nonsensical but that isn't what matters. What matters is that the traumatize that person to get back in line. Once he does, they will forget the previous statements and love bomb him so he knows he is back in the group. It has nothing to do with logic and everything to do with emotional manipulation.

u/Noocawe 4d ago

These comments are hilarious. People accusing him of being a bot or Dems running a social experiment lol. So many people I've met in the Navy or Coast Guard have said that long deployments make them wonder if they are part of a social experiment. They all love and support the troops, until God forbid the troops complain.

u/inquisitorthreefive 4d ago

Part of me kind of wonders if he'd get less heat if he actually knew what the heck he was talking about. This wasn't just a "long deployment." The Lincoln went over 250 consecutive days at sea with no port calls. Carriers are on a 30-45 day maintenance/sustainment cycle, so they pull into port, resupply and do maintenance they can't do at sea for a few days and then head out again. The Lincoln had missed 5 of these cycles at minimum. I have never seen an active US Navy vessel looking that rough ever. Even the Forrestal and the Enterprise looked better after their deck fires. One of my coworkers is prior service Navy and she cried seeing the Lincoln pull into port. A carrier also cannot infinitely sustain itself at sea, the Lincoln was running out of food and other supplies.

But the rest of me knows that they don't know anything about anything so it'd be lost on them.

u/skip2mahlou415 4d ago

I wish they could all hurt themselves in the confusion

u/Boring-Philosophy-46 4d ago

When a real war "breaks out"? There's one time in the last century I can think of war just happening to the united states, everything else was a choice.

u/Vast-Poetry9431 4d ago

So much of America will gleefully send off young adults to die in war, and this is the future of many an unlucky kid born in the roe v Wade overturn hellscape.

u/Rashpukin 4d ago

MAGA vs MAGA. Bring it on. Yaaasss!!!

u/Heisenberg991 4d ago

Why anyone joins the Navy is crazy when the sea-shore rotation is like 5 years at sea and two years on shore.

u/Estuans 4d ago

Depends on the rate but some are lucky to never go on a ship ever.

u/Exciting_Pass_6344 3d ago

Anti trans surgeries for children pretty much sums up how stupid they are

u/ArdenJaguar 2d ago

“..anti trans surgeries for children…”

That means he believed the crazy stories of kids getting trans surgery at school and classrooms with litter boxes. An uneducated idiot.

u/Halcyon-Ember 4d ago

“Anti trans surgeries” are you also against unicorns?

u/the_millenial_falcon 4d ago

Wonder how many of these people have a “support our troops” bumper sticker.

u/Fine_Following_2559 4d ago

Wasn't the issue on the USS Abraham Lincoln not how long the deployment was, but how long it was taking them to be able to get off of the ship for breaks? I mean and also the deplorable conditions actually on the ship, we all saw the pictures of the food.

u/Mods-Admins-Failures 4d ago edited 3d ago

I love the word salad they put at the beginning to prove their hate monster street cred, before they complain the leopard bit them.

u/Dusty_Negatives 3d ago

Love how they always have to declare how much of a POS they are before disparaging Trump.

“Look I hate women, Mexicans and the gays just like you guys, but Trump did something questionable”

u/SuperWasabi4766 3d ago

No one is cutting off little baby's penises for a trans agenda. That's not reality. The only people mutilating baby penises in the United States are Christians and Jews requiring circumcisions. But its always the case with extreme cults--blaming others for the things they do!

u/Prudent-Proposal1943 3d ago

Pro-life and pro-military are mutually exclusive if one thinks about it for half a second.

u/Mokey_Maker 4d ago

Just saying the culture war issues are the ones you care about tells me so much. This person is a classic version of the "I don't give a shit until it affects me" republican.

u/SignalCharlie 3d ago

At least he voted against all those transition surgeries performed by the school nurse during recess...

u/TerrorFromThePeeps 3d ago

So you want compassion towards the military from the man who said dead soldiers and POWs are "suckers and losers"? Was she dropped on her head several times throughout her life?

u/breeze472 3d ago

These absolute doorknobs who think children are getting hidden trans surgeries. I can’t believe they get to vote. Our democracy is truly a failed experiment. Our founding fathers (deeply flawed and evil as they were) never dreamed the idiots would even come close to outnumbering the rest of us in voting.

u/Joker8392 1d ago

Someone saying try an 18 month deployment in Iraq. No one fucking did. The Army had the longest deployments at a year.
Now with an 18 month deployment that shook the foundation of the image of American Naval Superiority these sailors probably aren’t going to reenlist with a bunch of them getting 100% disability for PTSD. Tell me how this giant farce of a shit show helped us?

u/Necromartian 4d ago

Anyone thinking about signing up for the army or the navy, please consider the gratitude and respect of these guys... Yeah.

u/blackcain 4d ago

Man the responses are really out there. If you exhaust your soldiers when in fact there is no theater of war then when there is an attack they would be hard pressed to deal with it.

I mean do these people not think in terms of tactics? If you got no supply chain, you're also fucked. These people are just showing their ignorance rather badly. But it shows that they've de-humanized soldiers as well. Everything is just objects to them until of course they get hurt and then they want empathy. Not because of their plight but because they deserve it.

u/Specialist_Guitar232 3d ago

If they were smart they wouldn’t be Republicans

u/depp-fsrv 3d ago

People fail to realize that it's not the length of the deployment that takes it's toll. It's the supplies, the lack of food, the lack of cleaning. A Navy ship needs to go onto Port for maintenance, clean the toilets, showers, the hull. If you saw the ship, there were visible signs of rust.

u/Strange_Explorer_780 1d ago

All this tough talk while simultaneously supporting the 5 deferrment guy who shit talks actual veterans.

u/Xenolog1 4d ago edited 4d ago

Trump having compassion for someone else except his own overinflated ego? Give me a break!

But can someone translate for me the comment about fascism? As non-native speaker, it doesn’t makes sense to me.

u/insomniac8994 3d ago

Andres Baka

u/oc_collector3 3d ago

‘…and I voted for Trump three times.’ Thanks, that’s all I needed to know. Nothing to see here, jog on!

u/wlpaul4 3d ago

I’m genuinely confused by the boot licker comment.

u/viperlemondemon 2d ago

Leopards eating right wing veteran faces has been a steady diet for 45+ years now

u/303FPSguy 2d ago

Another slack jawed mouthbreather thinking he can reason with criminals that duped him

u/Dismal_Reference3906 1d ago

What have you been smoking while watching Faux News?

u/Thrillho_Sudaca 3d ago

He honors his last name very well...

u/Turkino 3d ago

Meanwhile I bet none of those commenters have ever actually served.

u/BlackbirdRedwing 2d ago

If Trump wore any colour other than red you wouldn't be hearing "Oh please Mr.President oh please won't you think of the [insert thing here]." You be hearing the sound of people with the moral and political self-awareness of a rabid dog tearing into them like a rabid dog.
