Friday I received an email that claimed that I still had a payment due despite being on the Nelnet Flexible Payment plan for two months and paying both in full. It said that because the deadline was Aug 28th (I already knew this thus the payment plan), the Office of Bursar threatened to delete my classes. I have until tomorrow (September 8th 11:00 A.M) to pay.

I still had two months left of my payment plan and had received no notice prior to this email. Of course, this email comes after 5 P.M, leading into a 3 day weekend with the financial aid office being closed. The exact wording on the site says “Terminated - this agreement has been cancelled” and I have no idea why. Now the current balance required to pay is the same from before the plan even started.

Any answers will help. Strongly considering having to take a loan atp because I wanted that to be the last option, but still hoping this was a mistake.

They said it would hit September 4, it’s been 3 days💔 Hopefully tomorrow it comes out!?

If I missed the due date for payment but owl express isn’t letting me make it through the website, do I go into the bursars office to make it there instead?

Any and all refunds will be processed by the school today until the end of the month for most people. The only emails you can trust are bankmobile disbursements and your owl express account updates sent by KSU.

We’re getting close to our accounts zeroing out, I’d hate to see a single post of someone who didn’t listen and got their money taken by someone else.

Hi current senior in hs here.

I’m about to graduate this may and my admission counselor said that if I apply to the spring semester (since I have a core gpa of 2.7) she’ll transfer me to the fall semester

My problem is that I’m not sure if this is a guarentee. So I’m making a back up plan in case my transfer is rejected.

Since I heard that the spring semester starts in mid may, do any of you know if I’ll be able to start?

I alternate campuses for class as an EE major throughout the week. My most important meal is in the morning after the gym and before class. What's with the marietta campus dining hall being so lackluster for breakfast. For a comparison the commons typically has the omelette line, mini-cafe and more protein options besides scrambled eggs and chicken sausage links.

Hi! I'm a trans woman and I'm struggling to find any gender neutral restrooms, and I dont wnat to use either gendered restroom in fear of making people uncomfortable. Asking for both my trans and nonbinary friends advice on finding gender neutral restrooms on both the kennesaw and marietta campus. I’m an Information Systems major at KSU and wanted to see if anyone has been in a similar situation recently.
I’m currently taking ACCT 2101, and assuming I pass, ACCT 2102 will be my last remaining course before I meet the requirements to get into Coles. I’ll be taking ACCT 2102 in the spring. I have gotten all As in the prerequisites so far if that helps.
The issue is that I also need to continue taking my IS courses.
Has anyone recently been able to get an override to take upper-level Coles/IS courses while completing their last Coles prerequisite at the same time? Did you just submit an override for each course, or did you have to go through your advisor/department chair?
I’m mainly trying to avoid having basically an entire semester of my major pushed back over one remaining prerequisite. Just wondering how strict they’ve been with overrides lately and if anyone has actually gotten one approved.

I did Dual Enrollment at KSU last semester and am at UGA now, I decided to try and log in to my KSU account to access DegreeWorks for one of my friends that want to go to KSU and even though I thought my info would be deleted, it’s all still there, just with a trillion holds.

Hey! As the title says I’m taking bio 1107 with professor Trinh and so far I’m overwhelmed with the amount of content we have to know and exam 1 is next week do you guys have any tips? Should I hand write my notes instead of typing? How do you know what’s important what to write and what not to write? How are we memorizing all this content? What apps can I use to study for exams and remember the content? Any tips are appreciated!! I also have bad memory too so anything is appreciated!

I applied to KSU's MBA program in late July or early August and received a *conditional*acceptance, pending the submission of my final college transcripts to KSU.

I somewhat understand the rationale for my admission being conditional. But holy shit, I am in my last semester of college, and I have already spent the last 8-9 years of my life as an undergrad due to extenuating circumstances outside of my control, with no academic integrity violations, probation, or personal conduct issues. KSU isn't necessarily betting on my graduation, but I digress.

I find the caveat in my acceptance mildly annoying. I was accepted into the MBA in BI, which requires me to purchase and complete four foundational modules on my own because my prior coursework was deficient in accounting, finance, economics, etc. (Undergrad degree, once conferred, will be a BA in poli sci). Is an MBA from KSU Worth it? : r/KSU

However, I plan to change my MBA concentration to information security assurance to pursue a career in cybersecurity. I am fully aware that cybersecurity isn't an entry-level job anyone can waltz into, and the private-sector job market for the field is brutal, like many others at the moment, which is why I plan to try to find a backdoor into cybersecurity by establishing a foothold in GovTech first.

It has fewer barriers to entry and arguably pays better, especially starting out, and it doesn't hurt that I still have an active security clearance from my military days, which will arguably be my largest asset as an applicant with zero industry experience, as long as I have Sec+AT LEAST before applying for any federal contracting position.

Right now, I am studying for Sec+; next up is Net+, and then CCNA to round out the trifecta. I'm considering enrolling in the SANS ACS undergraduate certificate program while at KSU, but that would be too much to take on. GIAC certs are also expensive.

For those who are worried about payments (including me) I would check now, I just check and mine got updated but I have so much less in refund amount. They may still be updating until Tuesday though.

So back in May I applied to the KSU Honors College, and I literally never heard back. It’s way past the 6-8 week response time and it said I would receive an email with the decision. Is this just rejection without the official rejection😭? has anyone else experienced this?
