I'm disappointed by the comments, people are just sexualising it, joking about it or a mix of both, calling him Jinu from K-Pop Demon Hunters. Today on his Instagram story he even wrote (in hangul that was translated on Instagram) that it has gotten worse. Is he okay? I even tried circling it and the search lead me to Paget-Schroetter syndrome. Paget-Schroetter syndrome is a rare medical condition where a blood clot forms in the deep veins of the upper arm, usually the axillary or subclavian vein, due to intense or repetitive arm movements. Predominantly affects young, healthy, and active individuals, especially men in their 30s, that's what I got but I could be wrong. Does anyone have any ideas, sorry to ruin your (morning/afternoon/mid-day/evening).

mine was Call Me Baby by EXO in 2016 but i didn’t realise it was kpop until 2017 because i didn’t know what kpop was until BTS’ DNA was released 💀 idk why i thought call me baby was an american song when i literally didn’t know the words …??? i literally listened to it everyday thinking it was english (mind you i was 14, not like 9). and they are literally asian … idk man

but im glad i loved it. it’s probably the only reason dna was ever recommended to me on the youtube home page and thus started my kpop obsession. i was strong for 7 years, kinda fell out 2024-early 2026 but now im back into it but really only NCT.

always been curious cause it seem hard to be a foreign idol in general, but with nobody else who understands the experience it must be harder. and for context of this question i wouldn’t count an idol from a korean background too strongly as another foreign idol.

like for example i don’t think i would be wrong for saying soul in p1h is the only foreign idol in that group even if keeho is also not as familiar with the korean culture.
