I’m trying to identify this maker’s mark on a 14K yellow-gold family heirloom pendant.
The mark appears to be a B inside an open-bottom arrow/triangle, with what looks like a 9 (or another character) underneath, followed by 14K.
The pendant says “HAPPY 50th ANNIVERSARY” and is dated 6/2/73 on the back. It weighs about 8.5g and has five colored stones which are birthstones of family members.
I found a reference identifying B inside a modified arrow shape as M. Fabrikant & Sons (NY), used since 1962, but I haven't found another piece with the exact mark to confirm it.
I also found very similar birthday/anniversary floral pendants in Houston Jewelry catalogs from around 1968–73, including customizable versions, but haven't found an exact match ( some with the floral basket but without the detail around the outer circle). Also, the catalog does not list the manufacturer.
Does anyone recognize the maker/mark, know what the character underneath the B means, or have an idea of what a piece like this might be worth?
