I tried to include several angles for you. My pupper's mom was a full chihuahua, but she was rescued from a puppy mill while pregnant and they didn't know the breed of the father. My thoughts are either whippet or Italian greyhound? But I honestly don't know much about dog breeds. She's 13.8 pounds at her last vet visit. Her chest is about 17 inches around, if that's helpful. She's very much a velcro dog. She wants to be around me all the time. She's the SWEETEST dog ever, she loves visitors, but she's also very protective (hates people being in the hallway). She really only barks when there are people outside, otherwise isn't vocal at all. She loves to cuddle with her whole body. She's very social with my friends and vistors. Idk if the extra personality stuff is helpful, but figured it wouldn't hurt to include.

I live in Puerto Rico and found this guy injured on a golf course a couple of months ago.
When doing the daily evening walk with my dogs, we started seeing this guy on a local public golf course. He wouldnt approach people and liked to play with other peoples' dogs. One day we found him with a serious head wound that needed attention so I took him in and got him cleaned up and on antibiotics. He imprinted on me almost right away, and after a few weeks he became very defensive of me, my dogs, and my property. He is very aggressive towards anyone trying to come into my fenced yard and even other dogs in the neighborhood. However, he is very smart and ive started training him a bit and seeing progress already.

this is my sweet girl Lucy who i lost back in May, she was 10 1/2. we were very curious about her pedigree and planned on getting her a DNA test but she unfortunately passed before we ever got around to it. we always just said she was a shepsky, but i feel like there could be something else in there because i can’t find photos anywhere of a shepsky that looks like her! she was really one of a kind, i miss her lots. i honestly just want an excuse to talk about her🥹 please share your thoughts!

Hi! So glad to have found this sub! I adopted this lady about two weeks ago. They had her listed as a Siberian husky mix. She’s definitely underweight right now FWIW and we are steadily gaining weight! She’s about 45 pounds right now. 1 year 8 months old. What do you think? German shepherd?

Was told he was part beagle by the guy we got him from. I wouldn't trust him with that kind of knowledge though. Anyone have any ideas?

This is my lovely pup baobao, we got him just over 2 months ago, he is apparently 80% chow chow, but I'm not sure what the rest of him is and it's driving me insane lmao, getting a doggy dna test soon I just wanna see other people suggestions.
Thankyou

This is our dog Lucy. She’s 13 now, but most of these photos are from years ago. She’s about 45 lbs, medium length fur that sheds, medium energy level. We’ve never tested her DNA but are inspired by all the cutie pups getting asked about in here :) What breeds do you think she is?

This German shepherd, approximately 1 year old, was found near 96th St. and Ainsworth in Tacoma, WA. She does not have a chip and she’s super friendly. Does anyone recognize her?

Any guesses? Thinking Plott Hound mix or the Tennessee treeing brindle. She is constantly going up on her hind legs which is exactly how my treeing walker was (RIP in February 😭). She is also 90% legs, a slight exaggeration maybe but these pictures do not do justice on how long her legs are. 😅
When we got her from the shelter a couple weeks ago, her paperwork said she was 11 weeks old and 27 pounds. 😳 Tomorrow is her spay, and our official adoption day. After that, I think I'll be ordering an Embark test... Not sure I can handle not knowing on her. 😅
Also, her tail is missing. There is a little "stump" but I can't see evidence of it being docked. There's no missing fur or anything. So I am unsure if it just didn't grow right, or if it was docked and I just can't tell. Never was around a fur-baby with a docked tail before to know exactly what it would look like.
Personality: Super smart (from her 2nd day with us, she was recognizing the names of toys and able to get those specific ones, learns tricks with minimal training, etc), super cuddly, fairly high energy and unfortunately super puppy-bitey. 😅

My family had this dog back home in Tamil Nadu, India. He passed away about a year ago and he was especially close to my father.
We never knew exactly what breed he was. I don't believe he was a purebred, and I'm guessing he may have been an Indian native/Indie dog mixed with another breed.
I've included several photos from different angles. He had a reddish-brown medium-length coat, some white on his chest and paws, a fairly fluffy tail with a lighter tip, and semi-erect/floppy ears.
I'm hoping people who are familiar with Indian dogs or breed identification might recognize some of the traits. What breeds do you think could be in his mix?
I'm not expecting anyone to identify him with certainty from photos alone. I'd just really like to narrow down the most likely mix.
Part of the reason I'm asking is that someday I'd like to find a similar-looking dog for my father. He loved this dog very much.
Location/origin: Tamil Nadu, South India.

Hey everyone! What do you think my dog is?
She’s 2.5 years old now. I found her when she was just a few months old after someone had dumped her next to some bins in a remote mountain area in Bulgaria. All the kids think she is a fox , heh
She’s the sweetest girl, and I’ve always wondered what breeds might be in the mix.
