Peanut 2 n elephant saved my life
•
u/Luckyskittles TEAM FANTANO Jan 26 '26
Lin-Manuel Miranda and AlexDaKid are tied for the best producers in the history of hip-hop
•
•
u/Wildernaess Jan 26 '26
Lmfao
But I honestly don't think p2ne is as bad as people say lol Wayne has done weird shit for ages so it seemed pretty on brand aka not wack just wackiness
•
u/Arminderbozz Jan 27 '26
The only reason people hate it is because the woke libs are all allergic to peanuts. If it was called penis 2 an elephant they would be eating that shit up š
•
u/Slurm123x Jan 26 '26
I actually love peanuts 2 an elephant when carter 6 dropped i said it so much and even made a meme post about another peanuts 2 an elephant I saw

Kendrick Lamar actually saved my life though, in 2017 i accidentally swam too far into the ocean, the current was pulling me under, I basically accepted that I was going to die, the water was filling my lungs and I could no longer breathe.
Just as I started to lose consciousness I felt a warm and humble presence near me, a black arm dipped into the water and took me by the hand and pulled me up onto a small boat.
I didnāt know who he was but he told me he was a rapper called Kendrick Lamar and that while he may not be Hip Hopās saviour⦠he can save me. But I told him I donāt listen to rap because itās just about hoes and gangs, I thought because he was black he might have a gun and try to rob me so I jumped back into the water.
•
u/Nothing-Personal9492 Jan 27 '26
is this a new copypasta or just one i haven't seen yet?
•
u/Salt_Mind_869 certified pedophile Jan 27 '26
Nah twin Iām just telling the story of how I was humbly saved and then nearly robbed by Kendrick Lamar.

•
u/WrongdoerRare3038 Jan 26 '26
Chat is it cringe to be genuinely positively impacted by a piece of art?
•
u/ahmed0112 Jan 27 '26
Be careful with that, don't you know that actually caring about stuff is considered lame?
•
•
u/in-n-out17 Jan 26 '26
Fuck that guy I love Day N Nite
•
•
u/Windows-XP-Home-NEW Jan 26 '26
Wait people hate Day N Nite?
•
u/Much_Ambition6333 Jan 26 '26
People are fake hating cause jim jones said that he made cudis career with his day n nite remix and cudi obviously and rightfully told him politely that was fucking stupid
•
u/KuKuisSidePiece Bob Dylan jailbroke my iPhone Jan 26 '26
like actual question who is jim jones? for once im not jerking my shit i donāt know who that is
•

•
u/Carnoraptorr Jan 26 '26
Guy who did Jonestown
•
u/KuKuisSidePiece Bob Dylan jailbroke my iPhone Jan 27 '26
man i love his work, maybe i should start to hate on cudi too
•
•
u/sushiful_ Jan 26 '26
Jim jones made his career?? Didnt he kill himself or something??
kidding but im so out of keeping up with new people had to do a double take
•
•
u/eyyikey Jan 26 '26
They also hate him because they're either Kanye dickriders or people who decided Cudi was the en vogue rapper to shit on (a la J. Cole, Eminem, etc.)
•
u/No_Adhesiveness8405 Jan 27 '26
Most Kanye fans absolutely love Cudi
I know thereās the twitter retards who claim to be āKanye fansā that hate Cudi but like on Reddit and real life from my experience Kanye fans think Kanye was the idiot in pretty much all instances of them two fighting

Just listened to it right now because Iāve never heard it and I donāt think Iāve heard mixing that bad since the Quandale Dingle memes
Might be a new contender for my bottom 5 songs oat
•
u/RepresentativeEye584 Jan 27 '26
I mean itās kinda corny but itās still a banger
•
u/Windows-XP-Home-NEW Jan 27 '26
I can see how some would find it corny but itās too much of a banger for me to be corned out.
•
u/Dremlin21 Jan 26 '26
People fucking hate cool things just for the sake of it, fuck emā
•
u/ConcreteBackflips Jan 26 '26
Idc which way the hipsters are feeling today; they could never make me hate you cudder
•
•
u/ClanOfCoolKids Jan 26 '26
marijuana by kid cudi is one of the most beautiful songs oat if you ignore the lyrics. idk if i would have killed myself if i didn't hear the song tho
•
u/Caust1cFn_YT Jan 26 '26
mainstream af but pursuit of happiness is so good
•
u/Inner_Jeweler_5661 sharpest knife šŖ in the drawer Jan 26 '26
There's a reason why songs go mainstream, most of the time they are good songs. No point hating on "mainstream" just cos its not "alternative"
•
u/Caust1cFn_YT Jan 26 '26
yeah i know that
reddit is hugely anti mainstream for some reason tho thats why•
•
u/1k2i3d Jan 26 '26
Went 12x platinum with basically no radio play. Itās mainstream because it was an incredible song
•
u/dirtystreetlevelshit Jan 26 '26
That song made me want to smoke weed. I found some, and never looked back. Thanks Mr. Solo Dolo

u/Consistent_Ad1176 Jan 26 '26
Real talk I donāt like the cudi hate. Sure his new music isnāt great, but the first two man on the moons are classics. They meant a lot to me as a teenager.
•
u/Actedpie Jan 26 '26
Cudiās one of the rappers with the biggest influence/mainstream recognition discrepancy honestly. Itās insane how much impact he had on an entire generation of artists.
•
u/Vectorrrrr472 Jan 27 '26
Let's not forget, he pulled European fans with Day N Nite (CROOKER REMIX) and Memories, which were complete different genres
•
u/Economy-Cod-9510 Jan 27 '26
His new stuff kinda fire. Especially free
•
u/Consistent_Ad1176 Jan 27 '26
Idk, I thought it was a solid project but nothing stuck for me.
A few songs from his previous album I liked though
•
u/miyananana Jan 26 '26
Eminem lol

I was fuming when his hardcore-fans were mad at me for not believing that Encore is at the same level as Illmatic, lmao

Idk how someone could possibly post a long ass comment like this without even bringing up BBno$ either - people here are so afraid to discuss these rare topics. Like they don't even talk about Marshall Mathers either. Just off the top of my head these are some of the rappers NEVER get mentioned in this incredible never selective at all about which rappers to criticize subreddit:
- Eminem
- BBno$
- M&M
- Marshall Mathers
- Marshall Mathers LP (Listed Person)
- Marshall Mathers LP2 (Listed Person #2)
- BBNo$
- Eminem
- Marshall "Eminem" Mathers
- BBNo$
- Marshall "Marshall 'Eminem' Mathers" Mathers
- Marshall "Marshall 'Eminem' Mathers" Mathers LP

Now that i think about it, I by kendrick lamar really helped me semi recently. I know, freezing cold take and all but idk the songs good. I was just getting into rap and decided to listen to TPAB, and i instantly added that song in my playlist. Its just so nice and beautiful and swag, it instantly cheered me up

I wouldāve said Eminem but after his political stuff I think most of the 40 year old losers who listened to him have either stopped, or at least stopped talking about him
