Yeah being black Muslim/Israelite doesn't mean hating Jews but there are popular communities in those spaces that hate jews

u/LTS55 Aug 14 '25

Yup, there are a few sects of BI that are straight up classified as hate groups

u/lexE5839 Aug 14 '25

Kendrick’s cousin just happens to be in one of those

It's said seeing the radical hate ones reach more popularity nowadays

There’s a big Black Israelite community in Dimona Israel. They originate from the OG group from the 70’s, I think back then it wasn’t hateful at all towards Jews just thought they were descendants of a long lost tribe and part of the Jewish diaspora. I guess the extremism evolved later on in some circles.

Poor guys nobody deserves to live in dimona

u/itay162 Aug 17 '25

Maybe the radiation textiles somehow detadicalized them

u/guy4guy4guy Aug 17 '25

Hey! I'm a byproduct of the dimona "textile" factory and I'm very radical

As a Jew I haven't thought much about it when I first learned about Jamaicans and Zion and all that. But the more I think about it feels very uncomfortable to me. It's similar to those white girls spending some time in an ashram and start claiming they're guru's and wear white linen all the time. It gets even more crazy when they start to erase your culture and claim you're the one stealing it.

Honestly I'm also Jewish it never fucked with me, like I hate anti-Semitism (ofc) but these people I always felt like "oh shit they crazy" and never more than that

iirc one sect of black israelites straight up just integrated with conservative judaism, michelle obamas cousin is a rabbi for them https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commandment_Keepers

(and btw for those wondering conservative judaism has nothing to do with conservative politics, it's just called that because its in between reform and orthodox)

Rap is pretty conservative in nature tbh nobody really points that out. That’s why I enjoy it I think

That's really cool, makes sense if you really think about how the sect of conservative Judaism would look to people in christo-centric communities
