Today I tattooed a little sprinting hound on my finger (can’t get the second hind leg to look right so she’s currently missing one), and my Penelope’s ear tattoos on my wrist (so we can match).

Almost every evening, after a good deal of roaching. Rosie will select a cuddly toy snuggle and then give this face which translates to needing a lot of cuddles and some background noise for her pre sleep snooze.

It has become a very sweet routine although at least one of us needs to be downstairs to take part.

Bad news is a big storm caused part of a big tree to fall on our house and smash down our fence and a few other things. (Property damage only. All hoomans and noodles are fine!!) The good news for Samurai is all the extra walks he gets so he can do his business, and of course, sniff all the things!! 🐾🥰🐾😉

Hello all! Me and my mother are getting a greyhound from a rescue tomorrow. The rescue has been absolutely amazing, very good with communication and has reserved the dog for us.

I'm just coming into here to ask for some advice on what to do on the first day? The greyhound in question (2yr old male) is very relaxed and a lovely boy, but he's never been in a home before. I'm just wondering, what can me and my mother do to make him feel safer here? I understand and have done my research on the 333 rule, as well as the temperament and needs of a greyhound, but I'm somewhat anxious incase I do something wrong.

We've bought him some things for when he feels a bit more comfortable.

Someone asked earlier in the week how long they last for Greyce. According to this video, the answer is about 30 seconds. As soon as I stopped recording I realized it was already deflated 🤣

I wanted to give an update on my old boy, Harry. Thank you all for your advice!

He was having trouble overnight with pacing and peeing inside, etc, and we're slowly working through it.

I sadly hadn't realised how impacted he was by losing his main person. My husband unexpectedly passed away last year, whilst I was away from home. Unfortunately Harry was home alone with him, and then had to go to stay at a friend's home for two days.

I now have Harry sleep in my bed, rather than his bed on the floor. We've also placed him on some food specific for brain health, and we ensure we stick to a routine of two walks plus enrichment activities each day.

So far, so good with a few hiccups along the way ❤️
