But this company has Search, YouTube, Android, Chrome, Gmail, Docs, Slides, Classroom, Maps, NotebookLM, DeepMind, their own chips, their own cloud, and probably information about what I ate for breakfast in 2017. If they eventually get a model even CLOSE to the best frontier models and actually connect all this sh*t properly... I mean c'mon.

Using Gemini to help fix my dryer and got this message spit out.

Compared to the current Gemini state it's insane how good this thing is. I can tell him to control my full pc. I can tell him to check my messages every twenty minutes and he does it without telling stupid questions. I can send him a quick voice message to update all my games on pc before I get home and he does it without even asking which games or other stupid questions. It really feels like an AI agent. But if you compare the free plans: Gemini is way better for just chatting, analysing pictures and other stuff.

Genuinely asking because at this point I’m wondering if I’m the problem lol. With Codex and Claude I’m getting like a 7/10 average on first try — decent function, decent design, and if something breaks, they actually troubleshoot it.

Ive been trying to look for aquarium shops in my area and every time i asked the question of the shops + compilation of genuine user reviews, no matter how worded, the search module got chat-wide blocked by safety for some reason. Obviously no idea why and its not like asking gemini itself would solve this but come on. Ive been having this same issue with many other queries where it just shuts down the search option for no reason and since the block is chat-wide it essentially kills the chat entirely

Ive tried same prompt on 3.1 pro and it got through no problem so it seems they introduced some hyper aggressive guardrails that idk block the query because of idek public address or something

When GPT-6 Astra agent completely paralyzed itself in a fail-closed loop with a cryptic "Failed to create unified exec process: setup refresh had errors" notice, I fed the screenshot to Gemini 3.8 Flash in Antigravity to see what it could do.

Gemini immediately went full sysadmin: it dug into the hidden sandbox logs, identified that Astra choked on a Win32 Error 5 (Access Denied) when calling SetNamedSecurityInfoW because a leftover dummy offline account owned the .agents directory, and then executed PowerShell and icacls commands to fix the NTFS ownership, restore DACL permissions, and clear the poison-pill error cache, instantly bringing Astra back to life. (I have no idea what it is but it nailed it)

I was chatting with gemini about mcp resources and suddenly it started talking with itself, this is smtg new. could somebody explain what happened?

I use Spark to send emails to create cards in my Trello inbox. Honestly it works really well. Super detailed with checklists, due dates, labels. One click to confirm and boom. Started fresh at 0% and sent 6 card emails. Thought it must have been a mistake or that I had other tasks going on in the back ground. Usage reset 2 hours later, started again, 6 card emails!

What am I doing wrong? Why so much juice when I can run it all day creating sheets and docs and writing grants and not even a blip in the usage? On the Pro tier using Mac desktop app.
