Help

Post image

I got this baby from Petco a while back and had a small toe problem that the vet declared birth defect and I finally moved him to a tank from a tub setup and his tail is like this any thoughts? Keep fresh Pangea fig and insect or breeding and growth powder mix every day or other day.

Is it constantly like that or did they just do that when you checked on them?

They were probably just on high alert from your presence lol but keep an eye on it. Do you have uvb?

This is normal.

You can always check by gently running your finger on the underside in the direction of base to tip.  You don't need to go full length, just about half.  That should cause the tail to curl around your finger.

Or she'll run away, either way, you will see tail movement.

Mine always curl their tails around me.

Sometimes when I put my girl back she stands and stares for like 10 minutes without moving, sometimes this includes her tail just being in one position the entire time before she powers back on and leaps away, tail doing regular tail things.
