It's been several months of intensive use and everything is working perfectly, it even looks brand new. I understand that this is not normal, my right stick should be leaning to the left and I should have a broken trigger?

I’m making this post to bring constructive attention to an ongoing issue with the analog stick firmware processing on the GameSir G7 Pro, specifically regarding the stick resolution curve and the transition out of center.

Fault:

There is an apparent lack of a true smooth "middle point" during micro adjustments or basic moving around. When slightly tilting the stick away from center, the processing firmware appears to jump/snap over the middle rather than providing a continuous, gradual linear curve hitting the middle or going near IT'S NOTICEABLE AND REPRODUCABLE VIA MAKING YOUR ANTI DEADZONE HIGHER THAN ~10 (or anything above 0* generally speaking). In competitive and precision-heavy titles (especially FPS games), this results in fine tracking feeling either sticky or high sudden inconsistency because the range value for the middle isn't registering smoothly. Depending on how sensitive your gameplay is it can severely restrict how well you can play and for me the G7 SE was the alternative during that time.

TLDR: DISABLED MIDDLE POINT AND ALTERED PERMANENTLY (firmware sided) it may say 0 dz 0 adz but its not true of either 0% isnt true...

The Video Evidence-

In the attached video clip I demonstrate this behavior clearly on Nexus. As you can see from the stick response and telemetry, the processing skips the fine transition zone, which severely impacts fine-aim precision. When "adjusted" properly, the hardware itself is more than capable of true precision, which confirms this is an internal processing/firmware handling issue.

Req to GameSir and the ceo-

Could the engineering/firmware team look into the stick response algorithms for the G7 Pro?
We need a official firmware update addressing the raw input interpolation/stick curve it's such an easy QC fix. i cant believe a gamer had to go out of their way to make such a intensive fix lol

Not only is the listing barely a paragraph long, but it also clearly states that it isn't a PS controller on the first few words. That PLUS the fact that the first image shows the compatible devices.. yet ppl bought it expecting it to work on their PS 🤦‍♂️ are ppl rlly buying something without even putting the most minimum thought into it before doing so?

At some point, this becomes ridiculous. Unfortunately for me, and many others who don’t use the G7, we simply find it too small. The controller handles and grips are considerably shorter than those on the Cyclone, at least from my experience. That’s probably why the Cyclone feels like a larger controller overall.
My pinkies hang off the grips of the G7, which makes the controller feel too small and uncomfortable to hold. Counting the days until the Cyclone 3.

Eu tive um problema muito estranho com meu GameSir Nova 2 Lite no Windows 11.

Quando conectado pelo dongle de 2,4 GHz ou cabo USB, o Windows reconheceu o controle como "Controle (XBOX 360 Para Windows)" e o joy.cpl mostrava que todos os sticks e botões estavam funcionando corretamente.

No entanto, no Chrome / Xbox Cloud Gaming, o controle não foi reconhecido corretamente. O stick analógico esquerdo estava controlando o cursor do mouse do Windows em vez de funcionar como um gamepad.

O Bluetooth funcionou normalmente.

Eu tentei:

Modo XInput (LED verde)

Cabo USB

Dongle de 2,4 GHz

Atualizar o firmware do controle e do dongle

GameSir Connect

Reiniciar o Windows

Chrome em Modo Anônimo

Fechar o Steam

Gamepad Tester

Nada resolveu.

A solução foi finalmente encontrada no Xbox Game Bar.

Pressione Win + G → Configurações → Mais configurações → "Cursor do Gamepad do Xbox Cloud Gaming Beta" e desative isso.

Depois de desativar, o stick analógico parou imediatamente de controlar o cursor do mouse, e o controle funcionou normalmente no Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Então, se o seu controle GameSir de repente começar a controlar o mouse em vez de funcionar no xCloud, verifique a configuração do Cursor do Gamepad do Xbox Game Bar antes de reinstalar os drivers ou mudar as configurações do controle.

Does anyone know if the GameSir G7 HE has stiffer joystick tension and better re-centering than G7 SE?

My G7 SE is on the loose side, the joysticks wiggle near the deadzone, it doesn't impact gaming but feels bad.

In contrast, my Tegenaria Lite has perfect re-centering and the joysticks seem more stiffer.

Filed for a replacement for my kaleid Xbox controller and after waiting for a while for the replacement controller to arrive since it was under warranty. It arrives from china and it’s a tarantula which doesn’t even work with my Xbox. How do they even mess that up?

Why does the logo ocassionally blinks red?

I have three Nova Lite 2 controllers.

- The bottom two were purchased late 2025, (Firmware: Controller v6101, Dongle: v2700)
- The top controller is a few days old (Firmware: Controller v8201, Dongle: v2800)

All three are connecting via their associated USB wireless dongles.

The older controllers establish a connection within a second (green to solid white).

The new controller takes noticeably longer to establish a connection (~10 seconds or so)

Trying to understand if this is this normal behaviour due to the more recent firmware, or if it's a possible hardware issue.

I couldn't find the dongle, I think I may have lost it, is there any replacement or modifications I could do? Or is there any way?

I was searching for a plain black version of Gamesir G7 Pro 8K, but every international marketplace I looked, they only had the themed ones: Royal2, Nioh 3, Aimlabs, or Champion, but no plain black or white.

Then I remembered Gamesir is a Chinese company, and I happen to be in Hong Kong. So I started looking in local stores, since it will likely be cheaper. Lo and behold, I found someone selling plain black/white versions of the controller: https://www.openshop.com.hk/product/48817!

I was skeptical at first, and thought maybe they have accidentally listed the old model under the new 8K. But I went to their store today and they indeed had plain black/white versions of the controller. They are at the same price point as the themed ones.

I wanted to share my experience with GameSir’s warranty support. I currently own a **Tarantula 8K** and a **G7 Pro 8K**, and I’ve been very happy with both controllers overall. When I needed help with a warranty issue, their support team was friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with. They replied clearly, helped sort everything out, and are sending me a replacement with tracking to follow soon. The experience has honestly made me feel confident buying from them again. I’m even considering getting another controller possibly a G7 Pro for my Xbox. Just wanted to give credit where it’s due.

I picked up the GameSir Kaleid Flux today, and the B button is sticking. Has anyone else had this problem?

Eu costumo usar um cabo tipo C com um adaptador angulado para conectar meu celular ao G8+ (faço isso para jogar jogos que exigem mais precisão, HK Silksong, por exemplo) e acabei de perceber que no aplicativo Gamesir isso consta como se eu estivesse carregando apenas um lado do controle, isso pode danificar a bateria ou o G8+ tem algum tipo de proteção contra isso?

Hello, I just want to ask how to fix ZZZ g7 controller not connecting to dongle but if plugged in to usb C cable it seems to work fine. i did not do anything other than just wanted to play games and when i want to use my controller it wont connect to the dongle anymore even though it was working fine 2 days ago. please help
