GTA VI Do y’all think future Grand Theft Auto games should only be in the United States?
I personally don’t mind because well America is easy to make make fun of especially in GTA 6.
America right now feels like a GTA parody especially the idiot president in office so I imagine it would be hard for Rockstar to make fun or satire anything outside of the US.
I mean they could, but I don’t think anyone’s gonna get the humor or satire if they make fun of Tokyo or the UK for example.
America has more things to get make fun of easily overall but What do y’all think?

General Rockstar's Opening of the Extended Look called us all crackheads lol
Rockstar has a way of subtly talking to fans in their trailers. In trailer 1, the prison councler's first line is "Do you know why you're here? seemly referring to why we are watching this trailer. As with trailer 2 exclusively, many notice Jason's opening line was "Just fixing some leaks" as the game was tremendously upgraded from the 2022 leaks. Now, the extended look opens with "Yoooo Crackheads" seemingly referring to us as being feens for the next reveal lmao. Just curious if anyone else caught on yet?
GTA VI How to play GTA 6 early: Local midnight release confirmed
Rockstar Games has re-confirmed that, for now, GTA 6 will launch on November 19 at midnight in each country, according to local time.
Since this isn't a simultaneous global release, regions like New Zealand could get a head start of 17+ hours compared to other parts of the world.
A lot of players are already planning to pull the "New Zealand trick" (changing their console region) to hop in early and dodge social media spoilers.

GTA VI Wigs as a clothing option
This hairstyle looks so much like a wig that I’m starting to think wigs may be a clothing option, just like a hat. Since you can stash outfits in your personal car, seems like this would come in handy when trying to change your appearance on the fly to avoid capture, without having to visit a salon.

GTA V An ode to GTA V.
I’m 28 (F), I started playing when I was 16. I’m playing the story for a final time in anticipation for GTA VI.
As I play I can’t help but be nostalgic, this game was released in 2013 and it was crazy how spot on it was with society of the time. It’s the last bit of the being a kid I can still hold onto. How Trevor, Michael and Franklin all had different types of phones. How LifeInvader was “Facebook”. Whereas now it’s all about Instagram and reels. And CASH!!! Now we are basically a cashless society.
I grew up with sisters, we had a ps2 and Wii with family friendly games and the Sims on PC. I was introduced to this game on my friends PS3. They would lend me their PS3 and GTA V on school holidays and I would sit at home all day and night playing it. My mum even banned it for a bit as she thought it was a bad influence on my behaviour (unrelated in my opinion, I was just a reckless teenager). I would get stoned and play until my eyes were even more bloodshot.
When I was a teen I would only listen to “Non-Stop-Pop FM”, “Radio Los Santos” and “West Coast Classics”. I discovered one of my all time favourite songs “Lucky Boy (Outlines Remix)” whilst buying my character clothes at Suburban. As I’ve grown up my music taste has changed and I listen to “Radio Mirror Park”, “Rebel Radio”, “Vinewood Boulevard Radio” and “Blonded Los Santos”.
This game got me into gaming, I got my very own PS4 and started playing other games. Playing GTA Online during lockdown in 2020 with friends are some of my favourite memories of that time. I got frustrated waiting for GTA VI, I’d be fuming every time it got delayed. And now that it’s almost here, with my brand new PS5 and GTA VI pre ordered? I’m a bit sad to say goodbye to GTA V.
Would love to hear your love stories in the comments.
TLDR; girl is nostalgic and reminiscing on growing up with GTA V.

GTA IV Was GTA IV actually considered a disappointment when it first came out? What was the general reaction at the time?
I was way too young when GTA IV came out, so I never got to experience the hype around it when it was released. I only played it for the first time recently and honestly, I loved the story. Niko’s story, the darker tone, Liberty City and the atmosphere all really worked for me.
But for those of you who played it back in 2008, what was the reaction like at the time?
I’ve heard a lot of fans felt GTA IV was a downgrade from San Andreas in certain ways. San Andreas had so much freedom and random shit to do, gyms, tattoos, hairstyles, character stats, multiple cities, planes, jetpacks, etc. Then IV came out and removed a lot of those features while going for a much smaller, more realistic world.
I’ve heard some people were expecting Rockstar to take everything San Andreas had and build on it, so IV feeling more limited was a bit of a shock. At the same time, the graphics, physics, atmosphere and storytelling were massive improvements.
For those who were there, did GTA IV live up to your expectations after San Andreas, or did it initially feel like a step backwards? And has your opinion of the game changed over the years? Where does it rank among the GTA games for you?

General GTA Houston/DFW map concept
I’m thinking the north can have a river map border kinda like what RDR 2 did, since DFW should be landlocked, I know it’s gonna be over a decade till a GTA 7 or something else would come out 😭

General GTA 7 Map Concept - Lemoyne (Louisiana) Work In Progress. (6 hours so far)
Shout out to Notmyrealname1006 for the Idea.
Here's a work in progress of my GTA 7 map concept. I know Louisiana is very unlikely, but I'd like to see it anyway!
I'm happy with the placement of everything within the pink border. Still yet to fine-tune everything outside the border.
The second slide shows Saint Denis zoomed in.
So far it's taken me about 6 hours.
Let me know of anything you would add to make it better. Any feedback is welcomed!
Hope you enjoy!

GTA VI Even More GTA VI Details We Hadn't Covered From MikeShowSha's Rockstar Preview
Here are some more GTA VI details, this time from MikeShowSha's Rockstar North session with Rob Nelson.
MikeShowSha is a major Italian-speaking content creator, and he had a long hands-off session with Rob Nelson where he saw several things that differed from what other creators experienced.
I've already gone through TGG and El Rubius, so I've left out most of the things we've heard several times already and focused on genuinely new details, stronger confirmations, or extra context that adds something to what we already knew.
Full credit to MikeShowSha, Rob Nelson and Rockstar.
Actual Story Decisions
- We already knew Criminal Profile can affect the story, but Mike goes further.
- He says there will be moments in the story where the player actually has to make choices and decisions.
- Those decisions can influence later events in the game.
- So player consequences apparently aren't limited to just an invisible reputation calculation.
- Some decisions can come back later and affect how situations unfold.
Jason and Lucia Have Their Own Off-Screen Routines
- We already knew you can play them separately and switch between them.
- The new detail is that the character you're not controlling continues doing their own activities.
- Mike specifically describes Jason and Lucia as each having their own routine.
- So if you're playing as Jason, Lucia isn't necessarily just standing somewhere waiting for you.
NPCs Can Try to Disarm You
- We know NPCs react differently depending on how visibly armed you are.
- Mike says some NPCs may actually approach you and try to take the weapon out of your hands.
- Others may run away or react fearfully.
- That's a much more physical reaction than simply triggering panic dialogue.
- Every NPC will react differently.
Story Is Divided Into Chapters
- GTA VI is apparently structured into chapters.
- After the opening missions, Mike says you're free to explore wherever you want.
- The story itself naturally takes you through the different areas of Vice City and Leonida.
- So chapter progression doesn't appear to heavily restrict open-world exploration once you're past the beginning.
The Map Uses Fog of War
- Once free roam opens up, Mike says you can travel wherever you want.
- There don't appear to be artificial borders preventing exploration.
- However, the map initially uses a fog-of-war system.
- As you physically explore new places, the fog disappears, and those parts of the map are revealed.
- So discovering Leonida appears to be tied directly to actually travelling through it.
You Can Take and Wear NPC Accessories
- Mike got into a fight with two NPCs.
- One of them lost his hat and glasses during the fight.
- The items physically fell to the ground.
- Jason could pick them up.
- He could then actually put them on and wear them.
- We already knew glasses could be knocked off NPCs, but being able to take and wear their accessories is new.
- This could potentially also be useful when changing your appearance after a crime.
Different Cops Can Have Different Physical Performance
- A heavier police officer chased Jason on foot.
- Jason managed to outrun him.
- Mike looked back and saw the cop bent over, exhausted and out of breath.
- This suggests individual NPC body types may affect things like stamina and physical performance.
- Not every police officer necessarily behaves like an identical copy with the same endurance.
Tasers and Falls Can Leave Visible Injuries
- Another officer surprised Jason and shot him with a taser.
- Jason fell to the ground.
- Mike noticed realistic abrasions and wounds on Jason's knees and elbows afterwards.
- Physical impacts can therefore leave visible damage on specific parts of the character model rather than simply applying a generic damaged appearance.
Focus Does More Than Highlight Weak Points
- We already knew Focus slows time and highlights lethal and non-lethal weak points.
- Mike adds that it can highlight police in blue.
- It also highlights interactive objects in red.
- Examples include explosives.
- It can also highlight doors you can enter or interact with.
- So Focus seems to be partly an environmental-awareness tool, not just a combat ability, somewhat reminiscent of RDR2's environmental-reading systems.
Police Search Has Two Intensity Zones
- We already knew police search areas exist.
- Mike describes a more specific two-zone structure.
- The inner, darker red area is where police actively search using the exact information they have about you.
- Outside that is a broader, less intense search area.
- Simply leaving the inner circle doesn't immediately end the search.
- The wider search continues until you properly lose the police.
Six Stars Are Supposed to Be Relentless
- Rob Nelson told Mike that escaping at six stars is extremely difficult.
- According to Mike, police will continue searching for you relentlessly.
- Rob deliberately avoided revealing everything that happens when you reach six stars so players can discover it for themselves 👀.
- This adds more context to TGG's description of six stars becoming a map-wide search.
Police Car Crashes Are Dynamic, Not Scripted
- Mike specifically addressed whether the dramatic police-car crashes seen in the Extended Look are scripted.
- He says they are not.
- During his session, they repeatedly shot police-car tyres.
- The vehicles reacted differently each time.
- A police car could swerve, lose control or even roll over depending on how the situation developed.
- Rob apparently got excited when they naturally recreated a crash similar to one shown in the trailer.
- This suggests those dramatic chase moments are being generated by the vehicle physics rather than fixed cinematic animations.
Gym Progress Needs Maintenance
- We already knew eating affects weight and working out builds muscle.
- Mike says building and maintaining your physique requires repeated training.
- Maintaining your muscles requires going to the gym roughly three times per week.
- Your appearance visibly changes alongside your statistics.
- Squats are one of the exercises available. Do what you want with that information.
- Mike says the physical transformation can become very noticeable.
Eating, Sleeping and Training Are Part of the Wider Life-Sim System
- Mike describes eating, sleeping and exercising as interconnected parts of the wider simulation.
- You can't simply build muscle once and forget about it forever.
- Maintaining your condition requires ongoing activity.
- However, he also stresses that GTA VI still feels much faster and less demanding than RDR2.
- Not sleeping will change the appearance of the characters, such as black bags under the eyes, etc.
Readable Newspapers and Magazines
- Inside one of the first shops they entered, Rob walked over to a shelf and picked up a newspaper or magazine.
- You can physically open it and flip through the pages.
- Mike describes it as something similar to an optional collectible.
- You can engage with it if you want, or completely ignore it.
- This is another example of Rockstar adding highly detailed interactions without necessarily forcing them on the player.
Robberies Can Reveal Extra Opportunities While You're Doing Them
- Mike robbed a normal shop.
- When the cashier was threatened, they panicked and revealed that there was a safe in the back room.
- The player then had a choice.
- Take the quick cash and escape.
- Or stay longer and risk getting caught by the police while trying to reach the safe.
- Robberies can dynamically give you reasons to push your luck for a bigger payout, but with bigger risks.
Jason and Lucia Can Actually Break Up
- We already knew the romance is optional and they can remain partners in crime.
- Mike directly asked Rob whether Jason and Lucia can break up.
- Rob's answer was yes.
- They can stop being a romantic couple.
- They still remain partners in crime because their shared story continues.
- This is much stronger confirmation than simply saying players don't have to pursue the romance.
- You can actively nurture the relationship or let it become purely professional.
Relationship Decisions Can Come Back to Bite You
- Mike describes relationship situations that sound much deeper than simply going on dates.
- You may have to decide whether to tell Jason or Lucia something or hide it from them.
- Telling them could immediately cause problems.
- Hiding it could cause even bigger problems if they find out later.
- Rockstar apparently compared this to situations real couples experience.
- So the relationship system may involve genuine narrative decisions and consequences.
How You Steal a Car Can Affect Criminal Profile
- Stealing the car itself isn't necessarily what hurts your Criminal Profile because you're criminals.
- Mike says the way you steal it matters.
- A clean theft can be treated differently from violently smashing a window.
- This is another example of Criminal Profile judging how professionally you commit crimes rather than simply whether you commit them.
- It is not just about what you do, but also how you do it.
Criminal Profile Is Still Being Tuned
- Rockstar appears to still be balancing and refining the Criminal Profile.
- He reiterates that there isn't a correct or incorrect way to play.
- Reaching one extreme or another doesn't suddenly unlock special powers or abilities.
- The system is more about defining what kind of criminal you are than rewarding good or evil behaviour.
- Mike believes players who don't care much about it should largely be able to ignore it.
Stolen Cars May Have Less Fuel
- Rob told Mike that a full tank of fuel should last a good amount of time.
- Random stolen vehicles may already have partially depleted fuel or battery levels. Just like in real life.
- So stealing a car doesn't automatically give you a full tank.
- That could become relevant if you steal a random vehicle while trying to escape the police.
Gym Recovery Items
- Protein drinks and supplements are available at gyms.
- They can restore or boost Stamina.
- Mike says they can also help you recover faster after exercising.
- This lets you train again sooner rather than waiting for your character to recover naturally.
Jason and Lucia Have Different Fighting Styles
- Lucia specialises more in kickboxing and mixed martial arts.
- Jason fights more like a traditional street brawler.
- Jason relies more heavily on powerful punches and raw strength.
- Lucia appears more technical and agile.
- Melee combat may therefore feel noticeably different depending on which character you're controlling and how you want to approach a situation.
Body Fat and Sleep Quality Are Actual Character Stats
- This is one of the most interesting new details.
- Jason and Lucia have individual statistics beyond Health, Stamina and Focus.
- Mike specifically saw body fat.
- He also saw sleep quality.
- The menu can indicate whether the character is well-rested.
- These statistics are separate for Jason and Lucia.
- Mike does not know yet exactly how being overweight, tired or poorly rested affects actual gameplay.
- So the stats definitely exist, but their exact gameplay consequences still need confirmation.
NPC Clothing Appears to Reflect Different Areas
- Mike noticed that NPC clothing seemed appropriate to where they were.
- Outside a gym, he encountered a couple dressed in gym and sports clothing.
- Around Jason's home area, people looked more normally dressed for that neighbourhood.
- It suggests Rockstar populates different areas with crowds that visually fit the location and even time of the day.
You Can Give Your AI Partner Commands
- We already knew the AI-controlled partner understands what you're doing during chases and robberies.
- Mike adds that you can apparently give them contextual instructions.
- During a police chase, they told AI-controlled Lucia to go faster and hurry up.
- She responded by accelerating and aggressively weaving through traffic.
- So your companion isn't purely autonomous. You can influence what they do without switching characters.
Personal-Vehicle Delivery Is Physically Simulated
- We already knew you could call your personal vehicle.
- Mike saw how the delivery actually works.
- An NPC physically drives the car to your location.
- The delivery driver then gets out.
- He leaves using an electric scooter.
- So your car isn't simply spawning around the corner when you request it.
- Rob Nelson even noticed that Jason failed to acknowledge or thank the delivery NPC and immediately noted it for the development team.
- This shows the level of polishing Rockstar is still doing even with tiny background interactions.
Dirty Money Has to Be Laundered
- Mike says the large bag of money they stole contained marked or dirty money.
- They couldn't simply treat it as normal cash.
- They went to a business that launders money.
- So money laundering appears to be an actual gameplay system.
- This could potentially mean that in order to save in your bank account (and use) your dirty money after a robbery, you need to first go to a money-laundering business.
- This also reinforces the importance of money in this game and the multi-layered, more in-depth system around it.
Another Completely Emergent Robbery Event
- Mike encountered a completely different random crime from the ones other content creators saw.
- Two masked women had attempted to rob a jewellery shop.
- They became trapped because the door locked while the alarm was going off.
- They asked Jason and Lucia for help.
- The player could simply ignore them.
- You could help them escape.
- Mike chose to help them get out and then steal the jewellery himself.
- Rockstar's team told him they hadn't encountered that exact situation during months of their own testing.
- That's another strong example of how unpredictable the emergent-event system can be.
Adrenaline
- Running drains Stamina.
- Mike says you can use adrenaline to quickly boost it during an escape.
- It gives you another emergency option when you're exhausted and being chased.
- We already knew consumables could affect Stamina, but this sounds like a more specific escape-oriented item.
Death and Arrest Have Different Respawns
- Mike experienced both dying and being arrested during his session.
- If you die, you respawn at a hospital.
- If police arrest you, Mike remembers respawning outside the jail or prison.
- You lose some money.
- Weapons you've simply picked up from the world can be confiscated.
- Your actual owned weapons remain safe and can still be recovered from your personal vehicle.
Three Personal-Vehicle Slots in the Preview Build
- This finally gives us a proper source for something we'd seen mentioned elsewhere.
- In Mike's gameplay build, they had three personal-vehicle slots.
- Lucia's vehicle.
- Jason's vehicle.
- One additional vehicle.
- They sold Jason's existing vehicle and registered a stolen car in its place.
- Registered vehicles are the ones that can be called for delivery and used for persistent weapon storage.
- This was the preview build, so the final number could still change.
Custom Weapons Are Persistent
- Weapon customisation is apparently extremely extensive.
- Mike says you can modify individual weapon parts in great detail.
- Once you've built and customised a weapon you own, it becomes your persistent weapon.
- Your personal weapons remain stored in your vehicle.
- If you're arrested, you can lose weapons you've simply picked up from the world.
- But your owned and customised weapons aren't permanently lost.
- They'll still be waiting in your vehicle afterwards.
- That's a major clarification of how the limited-inventory system works.
Dog Treats
- If you're carrying dog treats, you can give them to dogs you encounter.
- The Study interaction can also identify the dog's breed.
- We already knew animals can be studied, but carrying treats and feeding random dogs is another nice little interaction.
Gang Territory Assaults
- Mike mentions attacking rival gang territories as one of the optional activities in the game.
- These activities are another potential way of making money.
- This is the first clear reference we've had from these previews to something resembling gang-territory activities, somewhat reminiscent of GTA San Andreas.
- Mike didn't have enough time to actually try one, so we don't yet know how substantial the system is.
Biggest New Takeaways
- Jason and Lucia continue their own routines when you're not controlling them.
- NPCs can potentially try to disarm you.
- You can take and wear accessories dropped by NPCs.
- Different NPC body types may affect physical performance.
- Tasers and falls can leave visible individual injuries.
- Focus highlights interactive doors, explosives and police, not just enemy weak points.
- Police-car crashes and rollovers are dynamic rather than scripted.
- The map uses fog of war that clears as you explore.
- Newspapers and magazines can physically be picked up and read.
- Jason and Lucia can actually break up romantically.
- Relationship choices can potentially have later consequences.
- Criminal Profile is still being tuned and doesn't lock you into a right or wrong playstyle.
- Body fat and sleep quality are tracked stats.
- NPC clothing appears to reflect different locations.
- You can issue contextual commands to your AI partner.
- Personal vehicles are delivered by an actual NPC.
- Dirty money has to be laundered.
- Emergent crimes can create completely different robbery opportunities.
- Adrenaline can boost Stamina during escapes.
- Dying sends you to hospital, while arrest sends you back from jail.
- The preview build had three personal-vehicle slots.
- Customised personal weapons persist even after being arrested.
- Dog treats can be given to dogs.
- Rival gang territory assaults are an optional activity.

GTA Online Does anyone understand why this bush gave me a 3 star wanted level?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I was just driving, hit a bush, drove into a second bush and instantly gained 3 stars. I then was unable to use my Bribe Authorities CEO ability or have Lester remove my wanted level, which I've only seen happen on missions.
