I got a friend that goes there and she told me frank was highly intelligent and got into a very prestigious program at that school. That’s what old faculty say apparently.

Rumors are swirling that Frank Ocean's mysterious A24 film could premiere tonight at Telluride. Taylor Russell has reportedly been spotted there as well. Security will reportedly lock away all phones before the screening.

If you can have Frank perform one song (besides Novacane & Swim Good) from Nostalgia Ultra at a performance, what song would you like to hear?

I just recently was at a local record shop and came across a channel orange cd , I don’t have any Frank physical media at all and thought it be cool to have , so I bought it . When I opened the cd I never knew that there a lyric pamphlet inside with lyrics and other stuff . at the end of it all was this monologue of frank describing his first love and it was really touching . I just wanted to share that for those that may not know about this , cuz I’ve never seen anyone mention this at all before . Does the vinyl version or even Blonde have any extra stuff they come with besides the music ?

I notice this today and it feels genius, but I don’t know if it’s loosely inspired.

so, genuinely curious here…im not an avid listener of frank ocean’s, i know a decent bunch of his popular songs, but im not really familiar with his background or who he is.
ive heard his unreleased song american wedding quite a few times now on tiktok and im curious as to why people say he’s mocking the west with his lyrics.
ive tried to look into ocean’s religious background but it seems as though it’s not something he’s ever really disclosed publicly, that is, if he’s even a person who considers himself religious.
i just don’t understand why islamic stereotypes would hold enough significance to frank ocean for him to write an entire song about the western view of marriage in islam.
when people say that american wedding was written to ridicule the ignorance of the west, it makes me wonder why he wrote bad religion, where he again makes remarks about islam. he sings that his taxi driver tells him “Allahu Akbar” and his response is “don’t curse me”.
from what i understood listening to bad religion, it seems like ocean uses religion as a metaphor of some sort to describe the feeling of one sided love. maybe this could mean that he feels that same feeling of disconnection with religion as he does his unrequited love.
so, it still makes me wonder why frank ocean would write a song defending religion. and i’m even more confused as to why it’s specifically islam being referenced in both songs.
perhaps maybe ocean had some sort of tie to islam and had bad experiences with it, leading him away from it, but if that’s the case then i’m still so confused about american wedding.
if any frank ocean fans here can dissect this that’d be dope

Had to improvise on 2 of the photos since I couldn't find the originals. I think it turned out pretty well, if anyone got the 2 photos I'm missing would love the help.
