Best place for a good scone?
Visiting by train for the day and would love to start my day with a good scone and a cuppa before my wanderings. Please give your recommendations.

The Pastry Section (Stockbridge or Leith) but I'd also highly recommend the Modern Art Gallery and/or the Portrait Gallery if you like a little culture with your treats.

second the Mimi's Bakehouse in the City Art Centre!
Mimi's have a few locations so you can pick which one is most convenient for you - all their scones are banging
