MOD POST Regarding Fortune's Weave Leaks and Rule 6

Upvotes

Hello r/FireEmblem,

Recently, a reviewer broke the embargo and started to leak the game on 4chan.

Our policy on leaks is zero tolerance. We will not allow any discussion of leaks of any kind. We understand the excitement for Fortune's Weave, but talking about leaks is an extremely risky proposition we do not participate in any longer. You will have to do it elsewhere.

Discussions about leaks, even if tagged, will be removed without warning.

If your post or comments are untagged leaks about Fortune's Weave, you will be banned from that day to the week after the game is released for untagged spoilers.

Thank you very much, and have a great day

General Mozu from Fates is possibly confirmed to be Teen/Child (from Heroes FW Event)

Cai is talking to Donnel and Mozu here and Donnel is also supposed to be a teenager I think and Cai is 14/15. I think this is the first time Mozu's age has been discussed

Heroes also recently also alluded to Corrin's age in a similar fashion when talking to Byleth saying both their ages are similar in range confirming Corrin is a older teenager or young adult

Nintendo Today (JP) and FireEmblemJP videos seem to be the same this time; the latter’s giving me upload issues so I’ve left it off this one.

This is only Hard mode, but I just love how much she can break the game. This evade crit goblin has easily become one of my favorite characters. Also I really like her character overall.

This is just my first playthrough of the game, but I wasn't expecting one of my all-time favorite characters in FE come from Engage, but here we are. Would definitely be tempted to do a solo Yunaka playthrough at some point haha.

General That "bad" unit that just always manages to be comically good for you.

I'd like to hear who your "meme units" or "bad units" are, speaking out of a general acceptance POV, but always just seem to be good or borderline run carries for you. Any game... any character. I just wanna hear people's different stories

I'm so hype everything sounds so good ! I really love how every MC have a clear, disntinct leitmotiv and instruments across their personal soundtrack, while also sharing general structures.

It really feel like four different people walking the same path, and it give you a familiar feeling while still being plenty unique and gorgeous !

Fortune's Weave Story Does Dagda's arena have kayfabe?

Upvotes

Goliath's character post says the following:

He is often cast as the villain in the arena

I get a very professional wrestling vibe from that, with storylines, heroes, villains, etc. and possibly predetermined results.

General First Fire Emblem game (Engage) - question!

Upvotes

I’m a huge RPG fan, but somehow, in all those 40 years, I’ve never played a Fire Emblem game. After seeing all the great promotion for the upcoming Switch 2 game, I finally decided to give Fire Emblem a try on my Switch. I started with Engage.

I’m really enjoying the gameplay. The battles are fantastic, and the game really forces me to think carefully about my choices. My biggest problem, however, is the story. I find it so incredibly cringey and childish that I’m actually having a hard time enjoying the game. The sheer adoration of the awakened dragon is especially unbearable to me.

Is this something I’m going to find in all Fire Emblem games, or is it specifically an Engage thing? I'm not saying this is a bad game. But I find the story part real hard to go through.
