Suggestion Spooky idea for a town
So I had an idea for a spooky town and quest in fallout,
A completely normal prewar town. Nothing has changed for some reason.
Now whether it's an hallucination and everyone turns into ghouls at the end or the town just straight up disappears, I don't care I just think it would be a spooky quest line and situation for the player character to get into.

Sounds a lot like the one in fo4 where they were torturing people to find out if they were synths, mixed with the Dunwich building in fo3.

This reminds me of both Andale and Tranquility Lane in Fallout 3. I don't want to leave any spoilers but it shares some concepts in a way.

I don’t know how you can spoil an almost 20 year old game 😭

Someone might know the general premise F3 but not the specific details of certain things, especially Andale. I don't want to be the person who spoils it for someone who might come along later and want to play.

There are still people who've never been to Tacoma park, if it's not in the main plot, there's always a non-zero change someone hasn't seen it

Salem angered me... freaking mirelurks, of all the things they could have done there... mirelurks and a terrible rifle

taking over after "Nothing has changes for some reason": Mysteriously all inhabitants are super happy, kind of playing pre war roles and talking non-sense about pre war stuff and that "they don't need vault-tec", but not reacting much to your presence. After some exploring you find a secret workshop with parts of what looks like gen 1 and 2 synths that look like crash test dummies...
Then you hear the sirens and warnings that the demonstration is about to start.
