Only now did I realize this is what Latenna meant when she called him “the all hearing brute” I thought she was talking about Ensha since Gideon is the all knowing.
Gideon was personally there to interrogate Latenna and her village. She calls him all hearing because of his outfit. I wonder then if Gideon is the one that bloodhound knight serves that guards her location.

His blacksmith and tailor had to have hated the hell out of him with those incredibly intricate details. It's fantastic from a story or lore standpoint. Hell I didn't even know any of this before today that was his design. It looks great actually. Just pointing out how much effort and work had to probably go into the beard alone.

Yeah when I first saw his armor at a glance I was like yeah gotta have that. But when you really look at it. It’s simply the ugliest set in the game bar none and that’s saying something because there are a lot of ugly sets in this game. Wish they had gone another route with his whole deal. Also the reason I don’t really wear the eye surcoat
