I called the theme this week! I did not get galaxy brownie because I’ve had it a million times. The flavors this week are okay, but the overwhelming amount of white chocolate on everything made them all taste very similar with only a few minor changes. Would have loved a nutty buddy cookie or a star crunch cookie instead of three cookies with white chocolate and a bunch of whipped cream.

Oatmeal thin cookie 🥣 2/10 - well this isn’t a good start, is it? The old oatmeal mallow cookie was amazing, two oatmeal cookies that had structure and texture with a marshmallow cream cheese filling. It was almost as good as the real thing! This version, on the other hand… I couldn’t even pick it up without the sticky, floppy thins gooping around my hands. The taste is fine, the cookies are very full of spices but the cream filling is basically nonexistent. Absolutely disgraceful on the name of Little Debbie.

Zebra cake 🦓 4/10 - had to go to a different location to get this one, and I knew it was going to look bad because that location sucks! But at least the flavor was okay. Okay, meaning just okay. It tastes like your average piece of crumbly yellow cake that is just dry enough that you need some sort of frosting so your tongue doesn’t dry up. The whipped cream in the middle is plain but helps the dryness, but the overwhelming flavor that masks everything else is the white chocolate around the outside. It’s all you can really taste unless you get a bite of the very center of the cake. Incredibly boring and definitely not worth an upcharge for how thin those cake layers are.

Unicorn cookie 🦄 6/10 - I was pretty interested in this flavor because I didn’t know how white chocolate poured over mousse would turn out. Visually, it’s cute! Love the little purple sprinkles, and if you take a chunk off the white chocolate, you can see the purple mousse with the pink cookie. Flavor wise, I could do without both the mousse and the white chocolate, or would prefer just one instead of both. The mousse had an off putting taste to it, it didn’t taste like vanilla but I don’t know *what* the flavor was. I guess they got the mystery of unicorns correct.. The base cookie was strong with strawberry flavoring though, so that was really the best part of the whole thing. Again, the white chocolate just drowns out the rest of the cookie.

Strawberry shortcake roll 🍓 7.8/10 - this is basically the strawberry shortcake cookie but with a swirl instead of layers, so I wanted to rate it an 8/10 but I just can’t because layers are better than swirls! You get more topping that way and it’s an even bite every time. I love the soft, fluffy base cookie that tastes like vanilla pound cake. The whipped cream on top pairs very nicely with the house made strawberry jam, and I usually don’t like the house made stuff, but with the whipped cream and base cookie, it tastes great! Super refreshing and perfect for the end of summer. My biggest gripe, however, is the damn giant pool of white chocolate underneath the cookie. It totally ruined the other flavors because… AGAIN… it is so strong! It really didn’t need that, and it’s an unnecessary addition. I’ve never had a Little Debbie strawberry shortcake roll, so I have no opinions to compare it to. Maybe one day I’ll try one, but I sure do like this cookie so I don’t want to be disappointed!

Chocolate cupcake 🍫 9/10 - pretty sure this used to be called mallow cupcake? Even though it has a name change, it’s still the best of the entire lineup by far. Always loved this one because of how rich, yet refreshing, and on the nose the flavor is compared to a Ding Dong. Ding Dongs were super special treats that my mom rarely bought growing up, but I loved how rich they were, and how MESSY they would get. This cookie is exactly like that. Messy because the whipped cream gets all over your fingers, rich from both the chocolate base and ganache on top, and feels like I’m eating a nice dessert and the end of my lunch. Grabbed these after my shift which is basically lunch time for the normal 9-5 person🤣 I start work at 6am! So I was most excited to grab a bite of this cookie specifically after 8 hours of heavy lifting and labor lol

Crumbl removed the nutrition facts with a recent update, but I am lazy and don’t update my apps unless I’m forced to, so my app still has access to all the nutrition facts. Figured I’d share them here for anyone who wants them!

Chocolate cupcake cookie: I am meh on this. I don’t care for chocolate base cookies and I definitely Dont care for whipped cream on a cookie. Not mad I got it, but wouldn’t get again. But I’m pretty easy to please and the middle chocolate glaze made me like it enough to go 7.5

Unicorn cookie: this was the one I was interested in and I was also underwhelmed. It was good but I didn’t really get any flavor just sweet. I liked the texture as the white drop coating had a thick shell and a decent amount of mousse under, these base was where I was left wanting better. 7.5

Strawberry roll: pleasantly surprised by this one. The jam was so bright and tart on this, and the base was cakey but not too much. The treat was perfectly represented in an elevated way especially with the white drop bottom layer and the jam. 10/10

Zebra cake: this was my favorite and I had absolutely 0 interest in it. I love zebra cakes and all their waxy, yet dry cake glory. BUT the inside cake and layer of marshmallow cream cheese frosting may now by my favorite frosting Crumbl makes. The cake was moist and the white drop layer wasn’t waxy (that’s okay😪) but it was thick and had a nice snap to it.

The last two were bangers that I’ll be getting again, I knew I should’ve got the oatmeal crème pie one just for me; I can never get enough cookies ig.

Literally why??? It makes zero sense to me. Why do they keep putting cream cheese in literally everything???

Edit: we get it, you looooove cream cheese, but it doesn’t belong in an oatmeal creme pie for the Little Debbie collab.

Edit: omg yall are STILL going 😭 I literally like cream cheese frosting, never ever said I didn’t. The celebration cookie was one of my faves and I’m sad it’s gone from the weekly lineup. I literally just don’t want it in every single cookie! After trying them, I stand by that, the marshmallow whip used on the cupcake cookie would have been 100x better. Argue with your momma. ❤️

Quality has gone down hill but there are still gems to be found.

Today though, I noticed that the nutritional information has been removed from the app and is “available on request”.

For someone who has to watch his saturated fat intake, this makes it impossible to for me to see if a cookie I may want, is something I can should even consider. Add in the fact that gas is at all time high makes it so I don’t want to drive to Crumbl because there is a chance that it may be too high in sat fat.

It was great while it lasted but bye bye.

I wasn’t even gonna get the unicorn cake cookie, I wasn’t interested enough, but she accidentally gave it to me instead of the zebra at first. I gotta say, I am SO thankful she messed that up because the unicorn cake is damn good!! So much better than I was expecting. I’ve never had a little Debbie’s unicorn cake, so idk how close they got it, but this is amazing on its own!

Zebra cake is fire, I have no notes for that one. It’s really good imo, very similar to an actual zebra cake. I think they nailed this one

I now understand the hype I always see for the chocolate cupcake cookie. This is the first time I’ve gotten to try it & will definitely not be the last!

Cosmic brownie is one of my favorites, so I was super excited for that one! Though I literally got 4 chocolate chips & I love those🥲

The oatmeal thin sandwich is okay. Might be better after it sits out for a bit, but currently the cookies are really sticky. I love cream cheese frosting, so I don’t mind it on this, but it probably could’ve been done better with a different filling to taste just a bit more similar to an oatmeal cream pie. Those were my biggest postpartum craving last year, I ate an embarrassing amount & I wish these held up to the standard I have, but they weren’t quite there. Not too bad though, I’d give like 6-7/10.

do people complain when a crumbl cookie doesn’t taste exactly how the snack it’s inspired by tastes? if it were to taste exactly like the snack it’s inspired by, you would just buy the real product. there’s no creativity in that. they’re supposed to be inspired flavors, not exact replicas.

This did not disappoint.

I’m bad at ratings because I’m very easy to please and most things are an 8/10 for me lol but really happy with this week’s lineup and my local store consistently hits the mark!

This is atrocious. The employee was super dismissive and the store was a mess. Normally this store does better but I guess they are either understaffed or don’t care anymore.

Wasn’t really too interested in this weeks lineup but had a free birthday coupon that was expiring in a few days. Went for the cosmic brownie cookie and it did not disappoint. If you like Crumbl’s brownies, you’ll definitely like this as it’s the same taste and consistency. Even better warmed up!

Is the only reason cruml cookie is still a muti-billion dollar company is because everyone thinks is nasty?

The period of time whered id be on my phone weekly to see the cookie drops for the week. There’d always be at least two types id want every week if not all to try. It was $4.51 for a single cookie where im at and now it’s $5.75. It makes me sad how boring crumbl has gotten and how the cookies aren’t jumbo size anymore. Majority of them taste the exact same.

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna skip the Little Debbie collab, unless the Zebra Cake reviews can convince me otherwise.  Here are some flavours that already exist in the Crumbl database, but corporate (or maybe Little Debbie?) passed on them.

Honey Bun:  Team honey, where you at?!  Now if this was in the lineup, I'm there.  Yes, we just had Honey Bun during Road Trip Week.  But if we're getting Cosmic (Galaxy) Brownie for the third time this yr, then Honey Bun should have been included.  A missed opportunity, IMHO!

Choco Crunch:  Personally, I'm not going to Crumbl for a rice krispy, but I've seen quite a few comments (on Reddit & IG) asking about Star Crunch.  Well, it's been five yrs since Choco Crunch was on the main menu, most likely bcuz of the low 2.89 rating.

PB Brownie Sandwich:  This was in the old Dessert Lab, and it was a tester in the past.  Corporate could have switched "Nutter Butter" to "Nutty Buddy".

Oatmeal Mallow Sandwich:  So instead of bringing back the old thick version, there will be a new one that's thin.  To be fair, maybe it's what Little Debbie wanted.  Otherwise, it's become obvious that corporate now prefers to make the sandwich-style cookies using the thins.  I will agree that the Dubai sandwich should be thin so that the crunch of the kadayif is more apparent, but that's the only exception.

Choco Swiss Roll:  Last seen three yrs ago.  It has a high 4.36 rating, so ppl liked it.  Maybe the sales numbers didn't correlate.

i can't be more happy that the minecraft week is over. anyone else? please never bring it back. i ordered a lemon poppy cookie, since i like the original so so much. anddd yuck. i had to throw it out immediately after my first bite.

it was the consistency of play-doh. crumbl is already an indulgent desert that has high calories and high sugar. so to make the desert as appealing as possible is important to me. and that was hands down so bad. i had to come mention it.
