Humidity Sensor Removal

I’ve watched all the videos but still cannot get the pink plug out of the sensor. Possibly because I’m an older female with longish nails and not great strength, but dang it man, is there something I’m missing? What an awkward area to get to.
The tiny pink thingy could be the problem? It appears to be depressed already. I tried pushing the plug into the sensor, then pulling, but no luck. Any guidance greatly appreciated

I did this a few months ago and as an older male with no nails let me tell you it was a pain. I ended up sliding a very small flat blade screwdriver between the plastic grey and pink parts directly above the clip to keep the tab depressed so I could just focus on pulling. It was really tight. I think you are doing it correctly, it's just an awkward place to work.

Are you flipping me off?
Yes that's it. Very small like an eyeglass screwdriver, and just in far enough to keep the tab depressed while you pull the plugs apart. You don't want to push it in too far so you don't make extra friction or permanently deform the plastic on either part. Even just a thin piece of metal like cut a small strip of metal from a pop can. Just enough to slide in but keep the little retaining tab depressed for you.

Haha! That bird is specifically directed at this ridiculous piece of pain in the ass. It’s a thousand degrees in FL and I spent a half an hour fiddling with this diddle. Looked like I just got out of a sweat lodge once I gave up for the day.

When I changed mine on my 300 I used a small screw driver to push the pink tab down.

Harbor Freight has a pick set for like $3 for these exact occasions
