There are many kitten resources but if you have never cared for a kitten before remember these essential basics:

My sweet girl went missing over 2 days now and I'm incredibly devastated. She's indoor/outdoor for 3 years and is always responsive to my calls. She knows the area very well and always comes home for dinner.
She has never been away for this long and it's heartbreaking getting no responses after calling for her all throughout the neighborhood the past days and nights. Anyone have spot sights of her, please contact me (206)234-1035!

So my cat is I think stuck underneath this 4WD after running away and she is not budging. I have absolutely no idea who the owner of the car nor do I think its seen use in while and I've tried luring it out with cat food to no avail.

I heard that I can call animal rescue to help out but idk who exactly to call since I cant find any information. Does anyone know who I should contact? I live in Sydney Australia in case anyone needs info.

This was our first time fostering a litter this big and this young, we’ve only fostered one or two cats before (one a foster fail). These kittens were brought to our attention by a friend of ours who showed us a Facebook post of the owner asking for people to take them. These kittens were without a mother after their mother either ran away or passed away, and that they “tried everything they could”. Thank god we accepted the rescue when we did.

Before arriving to the house, we learned that one kitten had already passed away, leaving the litter with 5 kittens. When we arrived, the five kittens were tossed into a box and placed on the front porch alone, covered in excrements, and starving to death. The two white kittens in the photos were unconscious, and we only knew they were alive by their breathing. Not even speaking to the former owner, we rushed the kittens home while three of them were begging to be fed, and two of them were barely clinging to their lives. Thankfully, the two white kittens were able to be resuscitated by putting sugar on their gums, making the rescue both a success and a miracle.

There was a bunch of trial and error when we started fostering, but we never gave up on them and were willing to do everything to make sure they thrive. Now, all five of them are thriving in their new environment of toys and wet food, turning 8 weeks old, and finished their first round of vaccines! I’m so happy to have them here, and this experience is the highlight of my year.

My cat is an 8 month old female cat unspayed she used to come to the house everyday and then left but she used to come . One day she left and didn’t come back since 8 days I’m very scared pls help me and tell me what I could do at this point . 🙏

This is a local stray with no apparent home. I have asked around and posted to local social media groups but no joy. Would love to take him in myself but I own lively German shepards so I don’t think it would be fair on the little guy. He’s quite skinny but I feed him every chance I get and he’s very playful. Hope I can find him a home soon

My cat is turning 9 this month, so one of the things I want to do to celebrate is to donate cat food and make adoption bags for a local rescue. I have an idea of things to put in the bags (treats, toys, catnip, cat themed items) but I was wondering if it would be odd to put something like a cute pen or keychain or stress ball or something for the adopter?

I have a lot of time on my hands, recently moved to a new area. I want to start doing TNR and rescuing kittens to get them good homes rather than them living on the streets. Where would be good places to keep an eye out for strays? For further context I'm around KCMO, if that affects it at all. Thank you :)

Items needed include dry and wet cat and dog food, cat litter, new toys, cleaning supplies, easy-walk harnesses, cat carriers, laundry detergent, and cat and dog treats.

Still working on his confidence to start socializing with Bailey, but we're cool 😎 👌 he's soooo adoptable, I wish I could find him a home with no cats. He'd make a great lap cat. All he wants to do is to cuddle.

The Home Depot kitty was caught lying down on the job.

We recently stepped in to get this little guy neutered, get all his shots, and make sure he was healthy. He is well loved and well cared for at this Home Depot...

He's their official shop cat!

In this line of work, we run into so many businesses that try to kick community cats off of their properties... so supportive people like this Home Depot really warms our hearts.

Hi, I’m looking for some advice on what to do. I found 3 (possibly more) kittens stuck in a storm drain in Concord, NC, and I’m unable to get them out myself.
I’ve called pretty much every animal shelter/rescue I can find in the area, but unfortunately none of them are able to take cats right now. The one closest to me is my only remaining option, but they didn’t answer when I called and are now closed.
I also contacted the county, and they said the fire department can come out and help get the kittens out of the storm drain, but I would need to take them afterward. Unfortunately, I’m not in a position to care for 3+ cats, so I’m not sure what else I can do.
I hate the thought of leaving them down there, especially knowing they’re so young. If anyone knows of a rescue, foster, shelter, or anyone else in the Concord area who may be able to help, I would really appreciate any suggestions.

He has not eaten or gone to litter box yet, is this normal? Today when I got home from work and picked him up he curled up and hid his little fat face in my arms, but was shivering. I pet him for the longest time until he stopped shaking and started to look around. I let him do his own thing and he went back under the bed. Which is expected. I'd say this is great progress.

Found a multicolor cat calico/tortie on the 900 block of Rhode Island Ave NE Washington, DC in the brookland neighborhood and I took it home. Please reach out to me if it’s yours. It’s clearly an indoor cat.

I’m asking on behalf of my friend, who found a stray cat and has been caring for her for about a year. The cat eventually became an indoor cat and is now very sick and having breathing problems. Unfortunately, my friend cannot afford the veterinary care she needs and wants to surrender her so she can have a chance to get treatment and recover.

She is looking for a rescue, nonprofit, or anyone willing to take in the cat and try to save her. She does not want to surrender her to LB Animal Control.

If you know of any organizations or rescues that may be able to help, please let us know. She just wants to give this cat a chance.
