If that is pvc I would notch out the back side for the tile and then smooth out the exposed corner of the base with sand paper.

You should put tile base in that bathroom, if the homeowner/gc wont go for that, your final resort is to notch your base around the tile and router the edges. Warning water will rot mdf and wooden base out in a bathroom just from the humidity from the shower.

It’s pvc base and that’s not tile in the shower. We ripped out a tile shower.
