The thing that makes no sense for me is I finished my studies in Software Dev( Did not got enough time to hangout and chill with friends). My priorities were straight back then thought I would have fun after having some stability. NOW IT FEELS EMPTY!!!. I dont have many with I can even talk. And this Long weekend is just killing me. I feel better when working than sitting as is. I usually play video games, like to cook and thats it. Also I am Muslim(I dont drink or smoke either so pubs or clubs are no go for me) which makes it hard to socialize.

(33M) I’ve been living in Calgary for about a year, but because work has kept me on the road so much, I’m realizing I haven’t really had the chance to settle in and make the city my home.

Most of my hobbies are pretty solitary for now, fitness, reading about random topics, going for walks and scenic drives, so I’d love to branch out and meet some people.

I’m at a point where I’d really like to build a sense of community here. Most of my colleagues are abroad, so I don’t have much of a work circle in Calgary either. It would be great to meet people for coffee or a drink, go for a walk, try something new, or just have a genuine conversation.

I mean I am an ice hockey goalie, full contact adult football offensive tackle, a gun nut shooter who is into shooting sports plus sometimes hunter via military history background, military history, etc.

Hey Calgary! Im a 56M, but very much younger at heart in personality, interests, humour, and energy. I’m a slightly overthinking, very social guy who’s trying to build a friend group that actually feels like a friend group.
