He was cooked as soon as the transfer portal and NIL got going. He certainly wasn't going to survive this next wave of bullshit that's arriving with NFL washouts on their way.

He had the #7 talent composite last year. Building a roster is not Dabo’s issue, despite this being everyone’s main talking point.

His main issue is the staff is filled with former-player nepo-hires who clearly cannot coach as good as they played under him when they won Natties.

It’s an interesting dichotomy where the large majority of people point to the NIL and Portal as the decline of Clemson’s program, but somehow they still have highly touted players consistently getting drafted.

9 players drafted this past spring, 5 in the top 75!, their QB at 110 (everyone called him a JAG but the dude got picked…) and however many UDFAs.

Only three programs with more guys selected in the draft with OSU, Bama, and A&M. Something besides the talent has to be the issue.

I think the bigger issue was losing Venables. His defense was such a huge part of keeping them in games.

Venables was a good DC. The Clemson offense was atrocious last night , though.

Well some of those guys drafted were supposed to be higher. Like klubnic, parker and terrell probably. They were fine guys. Just didn't turn into the dudes they were supposed to.
