We need to stop trying to make Clemson happen. It’s not going to happen.

I can’t believe that I just watched the end of the Dabo Dynasty, with my own very eyes…

It ended long before this game 💀

I'll watch it over again next week

It ended when cfb went semi-pro.  Dabo is a college coach and Clemson has to figure out how to depart with him and find a scumbag like Lane K.

Or they can just hire someone competent bud. With a team with resources, it's not hard to

Same, I have a feeling watching Clemson lose is the only joy I’ll have this football season

I think it ended when Venables left

Honestly, I feel like after BV left, Dabo's time was numbered. The further away you got from a BV coached defense, the worse they got.

It ended when DJ Uiagalelei was a bust and then the Klubnik hype every offseason was like holding up a corpse pretending everything was fine

You are not wrong, but I think this can be considered the official dagger.

It ended when embezzling money through a mega church was no longer the only way to pay players.

It ended at the Sugar Bowl during the 2020 season.

I think that’s a bit dramatic. They’ve won the ACC three times since then and made the playoffs just two seasons ago

u/thomase7 South Carolina Gamecocks 2d ago

To be fair, they only made the playoffs because they got an automatic qualifying spot for winning a not great acc.

So you've missed the last several years of football?

u/YoBeNice 2d ago

It’s been over since Lawrence left.

Justin fields throwing 6 touchdowns ended that dynasty in 2020

It was obvious last year and Clemson just couldn't afford his buyout.

He hired Chad Morris. I just threw up a little bit saying his name
