What’s your thought after your week 0? Just like us you are never as good/bad as your first week but the oline for you was scary good. Pribula (spelling?) ran incredible and threw his few passes ok. But your D looked good as well. So scary in the whole VA

Much more optimistic now than I was going in considering the injuries we had. O-line and the d were the strengths like you said. That said unless WVU, Florida State, or Syracuse bounce back this season (all unlikely) then we won’t get a true test until we go to SMU in mid-October. Gonna be hard to gauge how real we are until then IMO.

Shit happens, the rules have changed. Franklin’s firing is justifiable in the new landscape of CFB, but that doesn’t change the fact that, when accounting for the previous 140 years of history, firing a successful coach halfway through the season after a string of tough close losses just didn’t used to happen, and it’s hard to reconcile the old ways with how things are now.
