Quality of opponent and all, but the team looked so much more efficient than any point last year as a supposed 2 or 3 rank.

Long way to go but you only get one first impression, and Campbell made it a good one.

Good teams are supposed to beat the brakes off of unranked teams like this.

Not saying Penn State is going to the playoffs, but this was about as well as this could have gone, and like you said, felt far more convincing than any of the soft W’s they had at the start of last season.

Tell the Quality of Opponent thing to the 2024 and 2025 teams. I watched them struggle against Bowling Green and look sloppy against FIU and Villanova.

Today they looked like they should against a less talented team.
