I’m actually upset we didn’t push for the record. What better way to start the season than breaking the conference record?! They basically just gave up

I disagree, imagine Barnett breaking his leg trying to break 80. Or coming out of week 1 thinking you’re the best and go into Pitt with an arrogance.

I think taking the foot off the gas and even letting BCU score was a good call. Creates a sense of humility

Regardless, is a backup potential injury really worth winning 73-6 compared to 80-6?
