"My sediments exactly"

This seems grounded in truth, I’m not a fan of the color either. 🙃

Oh man, that first line could alternatively be such a rad geology joke about a soil column...

A nice bright sedimentary color.

So in the 90s Batman the Animated Series had a commercial where Batman sounds like he's saying "my sediments exactly". I was a kid when it came out and thought into adulthood that that was the phrase. I'd like to think cartoon Batman screwed this phrase up for a whole generation.

What was the text originally meant to be?

u/psylensse 1d ago

He actually says "My sentiments exactly"

I'm glad that's settled.

Spelled colour incorrectly too.

Nah man it’s color, although I usually use British spelling for everything else. Probably says more about when/how I learned the words than anything.

TLDR: We americans de-frenched the english language, you’re welcome. “Erb Derb” will soon be the new spelling

Oh, I know it’s the American spelling. That’s what I meant by incorrect.

I know, I was just trying to mess with you too

The comma annoys me more than the word.

The whole thing has frustrating punctuation. Lol

Sounds like he's talking about his turds lol

I recently got some fruity dyno bites and they made it almost fluorescent green. Suspicious if you ask me.

u/Isopod_Chan 1d ago

Oh my god someone who also eats fruity dino bites. The neon green shits are truly part of the experience

Lmao I hadn’t had them in years. Caught me off guard.
