Nahhhh. Everyone just cherry picking the highlights. You HAD to be at the TV at a specific time to catch something. Creativity was at its peak in cinema and people were less offended, by racist and gay jokes. The things we don't remember. Internet barely working if at all. Food was cheaper, there was also less people around.

We're all assuming western country quality of living yeah?

You know, I don't see any nostalgia complications for third world countries. I'm actually genuinely curious what their 90s experience was.

If you're born in the west. This compliation resonates with you.

Back then, Janky technology. Everyone lied about literally everything and you had no way without extreme difficulty to find an answer for it.

Maybe that's why it felt like sentiment was different. Everyone was talking out their ass telling myths and legends, gossip and it was culturally acceptable to eat it up because the alternative was really nothing.

The peak, was that all the Janky tech was the ceiling. So we all got to experience gimmicky technology with game platforms that we all could play and share together with our friends.

The bar was pretty low. Low res screen tiny data cartridge pokemon. I played that too!! Scratched up Tony hawk pro skater watch these tricks!

There just wasn't as much international competition for resources back then. So you could get your house, get your job, get your food. And live a modest experience with others who grew up with you doing the same thing.

As technology progressed. It also allowed international crime syndicates to communicate more readily over long distances. It provided a realistic check and balance for them to expand their operations further and more aggressively.

In some ways it was better. But you have to think that you have access to almost all the media that existed back then. If you really want it. You can find torrents and emulators.

I really do enjoy being able to look anything up at any time. And also have an accurate map. To know where I am, and how long it will take to get there. Business hours, on demand ticket purchases anywhere. Moving money from accounts without calling someone.

Having a block button for scam calls. I remember back then, you just saw numbers mostly if it was digital. Oh yeah, also having to remember people numbers.

It was so difficult planning anything if they weren't home. I get it though. I miss it in some ways. The best ways like every 90s kid does.

But I think the age right now is better. Just not economically. There's so much more cool stuff you can do now that you couldn't do back then. And a lot of stuff from back then still exists today.
