[Hannibal/General Fiction] What non-murderous characters would Hannibal enjoy having as patients?
The few times Hannibal shows interest in other people and has a genuine curiosity to find out how they tick it almost always has to do with driving to be murderers(Will Graham) or just be better at it(Dolarhyde).
Would any characters removed from that particular impulse catch his attention?
Sherlock Holmes(BBC or Elementary), Terence Fletcher or some of the asshole version of Reed Richards could maybe scratch his itch to probe interesting minds?

I'm a big fan of Harris' Lecter media: books, movies and TV. I'm also a pretty big Trekkie.
I'd love to see what a conversation between Lecter and Garak, from DS9 would look like (granted, he's a bit murdery). I'd flip the script a bit and have Garak in the custody of the Obsidian Order and Lecter brought in as a particularly adept and sophisticated interrogator.

They actually have a similar temperament, at least as played by Hopkins and Andrew Robinson. Generally very calm and collected, with an underlying whiff of malice. It makes me wonder if Robinson based his performance partly on Lecter from Silence.
In one of his best episodes, Garak told three different stories about his past. When pressed, he said they're all true, especially the lies. I'd like to see if Lecter could see through the obfuscation.
