I used to have a running nose almost all the time lol. That is, until I started working out. Actually, what happens is, when you workout, you are forced to breathe deep and heavily. This causes your nose to dry up. After that, my nose used to stay normal for the entire day.

Stay home, even if it's a light cold. Sleep for two days, make sure to drink a lot of tea and do nothing that costs more energy than pooping, and then I am usually perfectly fine after 2 days

Time, water, food, television and sleep.
Your body is fighting off an invasion. Your job is to supply it with what it needs.

Eat right, gets lots of rest and stay hydrated. If you don’t do this a cold will hang around for a couple of weeks. If you take care of yourself and take these steps, it won’t last more than about fourteen days.

I eat a lot of spicy food and don’t think I’ve ever had the cold since I started eating this way which has been about 10 years. The Mexicans in my family eat similar and I’ve never seen them sick with the cold since I’ve met them 6+ years.

Juice two lemons, a bunch of ginger, garlic, add cayenne pepper and honey. Take it like a shot twice a day.

Just make sure you have fluids, rest, and a good environment/medicine to ease your symptoms. Your immune system does the rest.

Soto Ayam. It’s an Indonesian Turmeric Chicken soup. Hands down it will make you feel better. Add lots of Sambal Oelek or if you can find it, Sambal Terasi. I’d say most soups do the trick but Soto Ayam holds the top spot for me.

Use medicine to mask the symptoms (antihistamines, ibuprofen, cough syrup etc.) and wait for it to be over. That's all you really can do for an illness that has no cure.
