If at all possible, spend some time outside in the sunshine. I swear it helps alleviate my symptoms. If you canβt do that, hot showers & green tea.

Suck it up, you pansy. It's worked so far, I still haven't died of the flu

Cold not flu. I'm probably gonna miss a pals wedding today because of the hacking. Guess I will catch his next one.

Sudafed or a similar over the counter type antihistamine really helps stop the coughing.

Time and patience. Itβs a minor annoyance not a debilitating disease.

This for sure! Also sleeping 12+ hours a day makes me feel less tired and more productive if I have to work. And it makes time go by faster too.

Two paracetamol swallowed with water followed by the juice of one whole medium lemon and a couple of big dollops of honey, sprinkle of sugar (to taste) all in a steaming mug of hot water. bed down with some hot layering. Should be good and ready to face the world in 12 to 18 hours.

STRONG ginger tea with honey and maybe some brandy. That stuff will nuke your sore throat.

I usually have berenbrug it's a Frisian drink that has a lot of herbs and spices oh and lot's of alcohol of course. So there's bound to be a spice or herb in it that will cure you. But have to drink until drunk and the hangover the next day will make you forget you where having a common cold.
