When did Crocs go from being the Nickleback of shoes to being the Taylor Swift of shoes?

When we began shitting on ankle socks and embracing crew socks. Nothing more styling than crew socks and Crocs, boy howdy. I think that happened sometime last spring?

When they put a shit ton of money in PR.

Crocs are comfortable as fuck. It's like walking on a cloud. They just look dumb as hell, but people seem to appreciate function over form because I see them everywhere.

Beats me. And why is most of them never clean?

When I actually put them on and realized the convenience is worth the Nickleback'ism.

Somewhere between being used as the future shoe in Idiocracy, before they were a known brand, and now.
