Help Request Caring for accidental snails

Hi all!

About six months ago I bought a mystery snail for my five-gallon betta tank. I accidentally ordered three, and quickly rehomed two. When the remaining mystery snail started laying egg caches, I removed them, but after a few months, I figured that any fertilized eggs would be long gone and was not as vigilant as I should have been. I recently realized that some eggs had hatched. I now have a bunch of tiny snails in the tank.

What is the proper course here? Do I buy a new larger tank for the baby snails and try to rehome? Are there resources for this? Thank you!

Unfortunately the five gallon is too small for even one mystery along with the betta. Even if there was no betta it would be pushing it and you’d have to do frequent water changes. Can you upgrade to a 10g? For the babies, most fish stores will take them once they get about the size of a garbanzo bean or you can post on Facebook or r/aquaswap to rehome them.
