Voltei recentemente para Angola e estou à procura de emprego, principalmente em empresas de petróleo, energia, tecnologia ou grandes empresas.

O problema é que no LinkedIn quase não encontro vagas relevantes.

Para quem já trabalha cá, qual é a melhor forma de conseguir emprego em Angola? LinkedIn, recrutadores, candidaturas directas, referências ou outra forma?

Hi everyone, my name is Abi and I study Theatre and Education. I'm currently working on my bachelor's thesis about applying these methods in Angola.

The methods focus mainly on movement and speaking, but they're not about acting (at least not in the way I use them for my thesis). I created an educational programme that uses some of these principles, but unfortunately, the headteachers of the schools I had arranged to work with stopped responding. So here I'm, in Luanda for two months, with the educational programme and without any school I can work with.

The programme is for English classes and for students aged 14 and over , is based on novella Bystander by Frances Hardinge and is 90 minutes long.

I'm half Angolan and half central European, but I unfortunately don't speak Portuguese. Even tought I'm not a native English speaker, the whole programme is in English.

Edit: In the Czech Republic, these programmes are also used in regular, non-arts-focused schools, usually as part of literature or social studies classes. So I'm not specifically looking for an arts school.

Kizomba dance classes and night putting Kizomba music are always FULL extremely FULL wherever I go, and when I go on Instagram plenty of peoole from all over Africa rocking Samakaka clothes, I will ask this question, why are we so bad at commercializing ourselves? How are these people who are not black and fully European dancing our dances but yet we have very few Kizomba dance teachers having a lot of followers online? How come all these African peoole rock Samakaka clothes yet there is no house making Samakaka clothes that is Angolan but yet the fabric is in USA, Netherlands etc.? It really bothers me that we as Angolan have so much to offer to the world but we rarely get the benefit from it.

Was it growing up religious and eventually losing your faith? Doubts about the existence of God? Experiences with religion or the church? Influence from friends, the internet, philosophy, science, or simply never feeling convinced in the first place?
