Proof of 100°+ temperatures observed in Albany

your car is very hot itself and therefore the air around these sensors tend to be warmer than the actual temperature. car dashes typically read hotter than the actual temp.

i highly doubt the 1953 temperature taking instruments are even close to the technology needed to accurately "within reason" display the heat needed to achieve this proud 100°+ temp reading.
