My Kitten What Will my Kitten look like grown?

Hello! I have a Bengal mix kitten whose mama escaped and ended up with a mystery Tom cat 😂
I was just wondering if you guys think she’ll start looking more Bengal as she gets older, or if she’ll stay more tabby-looking?

Either way, she’s the cutest little girl ever!

I’d love to see pics if anyone has had a kitten that looked similar to her! Please drop pictures of what your babies looked like when they grew up! 🐱💕

Meet Morris, Donatello and Roger (had posted them before with different names). They LOVE to conduct absolute obliteration attempts amongst themselves at all times, and run at supersonic speeds.

Also, the names are for pure show. Most of the time I'm just yelling "oh no you didn't!", "stop, don't go there!", "hey, that's too high, come back down!", "noooo my cable!", "I'm gonna eat y'all!!!" at them rather than their names.

I love them!, but they are going to be the death of me... 🥲

My Kitten This little girl was terrified of humans at first, but today she took hes first brave steps toward my voice.

Upvotes

A few weeks ago, Mama Cat showed up at my shop in India with five tiny kittens in tow.

At first, this little guy would completely freeze or run away if anyone walked past. To help him settle, I’ve been sitting quietly on the shop floor during slow hours, talking gently so he gets used to human voices and presence.

This morning, he had his first big breakthrough. As soon as I started talking, his ears perked up, he stopped hesitating, and he waddled straight over to my hand. Watching a scared street kitten realize he's safe is the best feeling.

Question/Advice Needed Kitten training

Upvotes

I am having a frustration.

Kitten training between me and my kitten is going very well. She is responding to rewards and understanding the noise I make to stop her doing the wrong thing (jumping at legs or biting).

The problem I am having is my husband and son refuse to do the same sound she understands when she does unwanted behavior. As a result she is doing those things to them even more.

Are they wrecking my kitten training? They insist them saying no is enough. But their tone is not different enough from their regular voices.

My Kitten Enjoying my first kittens

I recently got three little kittens and made them a happy place to be, really enjoying life right now.

It really helps the recovery from the family depression I got through last three years..

Photo 1: Blacky and Pumpkin

Photo 2: Fluffy and Pumpkin

Photo 3: All three taking the first made for kittens reward snack !

I've had many big dogs in my life but those little ones bring a whole complete other vibe as they require less work to stay busy by themselves and it's good company while I clean-up around.

Cheers!

Question/Advice Needed Kitten Food

Upvotes

There is a little kitten (about 5-6 months) who like me and I like it back (idk if it is a guy kitten or a girl kitten). It tends to meow constantly and follow me around and is situated near my workplace. We meet during my lunch time, which also coincides with cat lunch time.

It is a part of a stray cat community in that lane. The cats are well-fed, there is a guy who comes with huge bags of food to feed the cats and dogs. They are not shooed away and are cared for.

Now my question is that, since I have grown really fond of this particular kitten, I would like to bring it some homemade baby cat treats since cat food gets costly. I did see a few recipes on YouTube but I am not sure if it is reliable. Don’t want the little one getting sick.

Any ideas on what I can feed it? Unfortunately I cannot take it home due to some serious reasons.

Question/Advice Needed Need advice on weaning my 5 week old kittens

Upvotes

Hi! So I’m just looking for some advice on what I should do about weaning my 5 week old kittens. At 4 weeks I started giving them slurry from the bottle like the kitten lady suggested in her videos, but they really have struggled to transition to a bowl of slurry. One of them might walk up and take a bite or two, or they can eat a little from my hand but overall they just aren’t that interested. What should I do? How often should I offer it to them?

Also, I’ve been primarily giving them just the slurry from the bottle for a the full week now. Since they don’t seem ready to transition should I go back to just giving them KMR? Or keep giving them the slurry from the bottle (or both)? Overall just looking for help as these are my first bottle fed kittens. Thanks so much in advance.

Question/Advice Needed I don't know what to do at this point

Upvotes

I've had my kitty for about a month and a half now, and he's about 3 and a half months old. I already had some sleep issues, and since getting him have barely slept at all. These last few weeks I've been sitting in my bed from 2-4 am trying everything I can to get him to calm down but nothing works. I've literally been sobbing for 30+ minutes each night in that time just out of exhaustion. I don't know what to do anymore, am I'm hoping for literally anything possible to help. I'm constantly tired, school just started, and I don't know how I'm going to handle this if it keeps up through his entire kitten 2ish years

Question/Advice Needed Young Kitten Intro to Dogs & Cats

Post image
Upvotes

My father in law rescued a kitten that was repeatedly rejected by its mother. He has taken care of it through bottle feeding and bringing inside at night. My husband and I felt we should adopt the kitten because my father in law is very old and we are more experienced pet owners. He’s happy for us to do so although we weren’t planning for this. So we are adopting a 5 week old kitten next week:

- OUR DOG. We have a 3 year old 70lb lab mix that grew up in a household with two cats. She is very friendly with them and even grooms my older cat. Sometimes she gets a little excited trying to get them to play with her but is never aggressive. Even though she loves and respects our two cats outside of the house she chases bunnies, etc

- OUR CATS: We have a 15 year old female cat that was a runt rescued off the street at an older kitten and weighs 6.5 lbs, we also have a 5 year old male cat 13 lbs that we adopted at 10 weeks old and was bottle fed by the foster. Both cats are very social and cuddly. My older cat raised the dog and younger cat.

How should I introduce this kitten? I want to make sure it is welcomed by my other pets and is safe and happy. Everything I’ve read notes very gradually, but is there an ideal window to ensure they have slow intro but also take advantage of how young the kitten is so it’s not seen as an outsider?

Question/Advice Needed Does it get easier?

Upvotes

Hey guys!

My boyfriend and I adopted a 4 month old kitten from a woman rehoming her on Facebook.

She wasn’t exactly honest about the kitten’s health before we picked her up.

Upon picking her up, we found fleas and a prolapsed rectum. We have been working on getting rid of her fleas for several days now and got her prolapse surgically taken care of.

I guess I’m just feeling very overwhelmed with everything that has happened. Does it get easier?

Question/Advice Needed Please Help?

EDIT: We watched Kitten Lady videos all night! We are keeping him warm and he’s definitely taking the KMR. He’s gained a little weight, too. We have gotten him to pee, but we are worried because he hasn’t pooped!!!

Please understand that I’m posting here after calling animal control, the spca, and just about any rescue I could think of in my area but this happened on a holiday weekend so I got no advice, answers, or assistance.

This kitten was found by himself under my grandfather’s porch. We waited around to see if mom would come back, mom never came.

It’s gotten colder the past few days, and with his little guy being by himself we brought him in. Wrapped him in bedding, and kept him warm.

A friend was able to take him, we got him formula. He was able to drink the formula from a syringe.

I’ve never had a cat in my life. My friend is freaking out about how young this cat is. At minimum we have to be able to get this little dude properly taken care of through the holiday weekend because all of these rescues are closed.

Can anyone point us to some good information? We can’t even figure out how old he is other than “definitely not even a month old.”
