Important Reminder: We are a sub focused on activism.
In light of recent events, we want to remind people that we are not a news sub. We are focused on progressive issues, candidates, and defending democracy through organizing.
In light of that, we will be limiting discussion of current events to 1-2 major posts, unless new information comes out.
We may make use of mega threads of information as it is necessary.
In accordance with Reddit site wide rules, any posts glorifying or advocating for violence will be removed.
We are a non-violent, peaceful resistance. We condemn political violence in any form.

Elon Musk is about to become the first trillionaire. He's about to make more money than every elementary school teacher in America combined.
Do we really believe one man is worth more than every elementary school teacher?
Why do we have a trillionaire when there are kids without enough to eat?
Why do we have a trillionaire when cancer patients are going bankrupt?
Why do we have a trillionaire when veterans are sleeping out on the street?
I'm all for success, but this is not success. This is hoarding.
What leads a person to accumulate more money than they could possibly spend in a hundred lifetimes, when there are people starving in this one?
The reason poverty exists in the wealthiest country on Earth is not because we can't feed the poor. It's because we can't satisfy the rich.
But what we can do is tax trillionaires out of existence. And use that money to guarantee food, healthcare, and housing for every single American.
- James Talarico, candidate for U.S. Senate (Sept 2026)

Article Next No Kings: national Vote Early mobilizations October 17th
The No Kings movement has brought together millions of people in protest. Now with eight weeks to midterms, we’re getting organized again… this time to turn protest power into votes.
This fall, the coalition (of which Rogan’s List is a proud partner) is focusing on getting out the early vote wherever we can. With Trump attempting to disrupt mail-in voting and making ominous threats about how he’ll handle Election Day, we want to make sure we’re getting votes banked as soon as possible – and giving ourselves plenty of time to deal with any obstacles they put in the way of individual voters.
To make it happen, No Kings has just announced our fourth mobilization. We will host thousands of Vote Early actions in neighborhoods across the country on October 17th – block parties, rallies, walks to the polls, canvasses, whatever creative ideas hosts can come up with to bring folks together and bring them to the ballot box. We’re ensuring every eligible voter has a plan to vote early, knows their options, and is ready to make their voice count.
🫱🏻🫲🏿 We’re holding the kickoff call for No Kings Vote Early THIS THURSDAY at 8PM ET, running down the strategy and talking about how we can help make it happen by hosting events. We can sign up to join this call here. 🫱🏾🫲🏼
JOIN THE KICKOFF CALL THURSDAY
🗳️ More than 100 Vote Early actions are already scheduled! We can find one near us to join on Mobilize here. 🗳️

🤜🏼 These will be hyperlocal events, so even if there’s one already in our town we can still step up as a host for our own neighborhood! We can register No Kings Vote Early events here. 🤛🏿
🪧 Want to get even more involved in protecting our elections? We’ve got an action page with ways to volunteer to monitor the polls, organize for potential demonstrations, and more here. 🪧

Workers Rights Organize workers on Labor Day and every day with Emergency Workers Organizing Committee
Labor Day 2026 arrives at a moment when Americans are increasingly vocal about the need to challenge billionaire rule, and are once again recognizing that organized labor – the people who brought us the weekend – is a crucial counter-force to the oligarchs. And after years of shrinking union power, they are starting to gain back ground, with membership increases of more than 400,000 in 2025 even as Donald Trump sought to break federal workers unions and gutted labor law enforcement. We also passed more than 80 laws in 19 U.S. states last year expanding workers rights, including paid sick leave in the new Democratic trifecta in Virginia and a ban on nearly all non-compete agreements in Washington.
There’s still so much more to do, and we all have to step up and do our part.
The Emergency Workplace Organizing Committee, a volunteer-run network of workers, organizers and supporters, aims to provide the resources, networks and training to support folks in organizing their workplaces nationwide. They’re looking for experienced organizers; folks interested in doing communications, data, research, development and legal work; and call line staffers to help continue to grow their efforts. ⚙️ We can sign up to join them here. ⚙️
VOLUNTEER TO SUPPORT LABOR ORGANIZING
And if we’re looking to step up and form a union at our own workplace, the next session of their fundamentals of workplace organizing training starts Saturday! We’ll hear from experienced organizers, practice connecting with our co-workers and prepare for what the bosses have in store. ⚙️ We can register to be part of it here. ⚙️
