I was asked to adopt this cutie from my coworker because his children wanted a kitten then didn't take care of him well. Got him covered in fleas and mats, immediately took him to the vet the same day and got his flea treatment going.

Tried cutting his mats out but some of them are so close to his skin and he's only 4 months old so his skin stretches a lot and I don't want to cut him. Gave him a good bath but next stop is a groomer.

Regardless of all that, he is the sweetest and cutest little guy ever. If anyone has any advice for a new Persian owner, I'd appreciate it. He's already in way better shape after 4 days than he was when I got him.

I named him Winston since he looks so distinguished.

He was adopted from a rescue that helps abandoned cats in the Middle East. Tabius my oriental is the most gentle cuddly thing but well… he’s a lil guy and likes to instigate 🤣

And he lets me bury my face in his belly.

She was ready before I was this morning for our walk! Give me a minute child! ( Yes her face is now cleaned) she wanted to go!

Hii everyone, this is my girl Luna she is almost 8 months old. so I’ve been giving her Royal Canin Persian Kitten food since she was 2-3 months old and I’ve had not problem but a few days ago I’ve noticed that she hasn’t been eating as much as she used to. She hasn’t lost her appetite because she loves treats and wet food but she is like bored of the pebbles of the RC food.

Can anyone tell me if it’s normal? I leave her food available 24/7. I think that might be the problem. Idk I’m open to suggestions and thank you in advance!! 🫶🏻

While mourning the loss of my first and only Persian cat Boo this December, I decided to go ahead and adopt a 3 month old kitten. I was worried we wouldn’t click right away and that I’d be missing Boo , but wow. This kitten exceeded my expectations. He’s cuddly, funny, sweet, adorable! Obviously doesn’t replace my special Boo, but i know he’s going to be special in his own, different way. Any tips on how to acclimate him to my 10 year old grumpy chihuahua much appreciated :)

Hi there! This is my precious rescue Persian Merlin ❤️ Merlin is a very adventurous kitty who acts more like a dog than a cat; he loves kayaking, car rides, going to craft fairs and meeting strangers. Not only is he super sweet and outgoing but he also has a very unique coloring with his gold eyes and brown fur. Between his confident personality and beautiful appearance, I am hoping to find a way to get him into modeling, commercials, or a way to get him more popular on social media. I was wondering if anybody knows how to go about doing this ? Thank you! Merlin also won the first rescue cat show last year that he had ever been in and he got best overall for the cats and first place in his category :) He has so much potential to bring happiness to others (besides me haha) and I’d hate for it to go to waste. I live in Raleigh, NC but I’m willing to travel to get something started for him.

He has a oversized heart with a level 6 murmur detected from an echocardiograph & 2x holes internally in his heart aswell . 2x 1% defects that are so rare a special small animal hospital had no previous records to go off .

Despite this , hes still having a great time a year on from his prognosis , eating all the flip flops he can .

I got my first Persian Cat today as a gift, i nitifed somthing but im not sure so im asking u guys ,her back legs on knuckles seems kinda of, and her tail it looks like it has been shaved off or something, its like twisted, so yeah let me know if im tripping or not, and any tips for persian?
