when I lived in the UK, the local Lebanese restaurants made sheesh tawooks by marinating them in yoghurt, tomato paste, garlic and some spices. It's the same in the Czech republic. I'm now visiting the Netherlands and all the local Lebanese (and other Arab) restaurants make sheesh by marinating it in bell peppers. The server at one restaurant was really taken aback when I asked why everyone marinates it in bell peppers there, which surprised me. I also couldn't find recipes for sheesh which marinate it in bell peppers.

Was the sheesh I had in the UK and CZ some regional variant of sheesh? What's the "correct" recipe for a sheesh according to you?

🇱🇧 Lebanon: Starlink was approved earlier this year, yet we’re still waiting for it to actually become available.

And honestly, knowing how things usually work here, I wouldn’t be surprised if we eventually get limited data at a higher price. 😂
