Grabbed a couple of u/djdrey909 ‘s wipEout LEGO kits for my home office - time for a TDR x Verdant craft beer to celebrate finishing the builds

I’ve seen a few posts and comments saying this, but i haven’t been that deep into WipEout lore, plus i played some of those games for the first time in 2023, with last one in 2025 being WipEout Omega Collection. So please, tell me, is this true?

Saved up for months, finally went on sale online and it came EARLIER than I expected

For those familiar with the classic Wipeout games - Wipeout, Wipeout Xl/2095, Wip3out, and Wipeout64, what is your favorite?

Well.. that's taken a little longer than the last few, but I've had a bit of life stuff going on. In any case - I'm happy to share I've just released TRIAKIS in Lego.

This one was a decent challenge. For the first time I took on a Fury-class ship. They're all angles & fins which wasn't the easiest to replicate, but I hope you'll agree it's come out a treat.

As usual I've done a set of stickers to up the realism. Video will come later, but wanted to share it here first with r/WipeOut as you've all always been so supportive. Let me know what you think, if you want to know more, check out the full build blog for this build and the rest in the series.

Need to make a decal.

I've been working on RogueOut for the past 4–5 months, and I think the core of the game is finally solid enough to let other people play it.

So... the beta is now available on itch.io and it's completely free!

RogueOut is a fast-paced futuristic racing game, and the latest version finally introduces split-screen racing.

What can you play right now?

• 🏁 Two game modes: Race & Time Trial
• 🗺️ Three tracks, including the new Vulcanic map (still a draft, but almost complete)
• 🚀 A lot of different ships
• 🎨 A looooot of skins
• 🖥️ Local split-screen multiplayer

But I want to be clear about something:

This is NOT the final demo.

It's still a beta, and I'm using it to test the game and gather feedback before releasing an official demo on Steam.

There are still a lot of placeholders, unfinished elements, temporary assets, missing features and things that need polishing.

But after 4–5 months of development, I finally feel that the core gameplay is solid enough to start getting feedback from actual players.

So if you're interested in trying an early version of an indie racing game and helping me shape it before the official demo, I'd really appreciate it!

Zico Liu was one of the programmers for WipEout HD (see here WipEout HD – Approaching: Dust Off the Trophy Case). He was responsible for the 30.82 Venom speed lap time at Anulpha Pass in the Piranha.

Hello all, i found my old psp and my copy of wipeout pure. I was wondering how id get the dlc for it? My psp isnt modded and if i can avoid modding it that wpuld be good. Can anyone help? Thanks all.

i’ve fully completed all the classic games on PS1, and have moved on to fusion. been trying to get a 100% on it. i’ve finished the arcade and ag league modes, as well as half of zone mode, but i can’t for the life of me get the hang of challenge mode, especially the elimination challenges. van uber challenge 2 is where im stuck at, so i was wondering if anyone here has done it before and/or has some tips to overcome it. any help would be appreciated.

additionally, is there any way to earn credits easier? i’m trying to upgrade all my ships and endlessly replaying the arcade mode for a small amount of credits sounds really boring.

I thought about this when listening to my playlist (which is comprised mainly of racing game soundtracks) and I don't have a single song from this series. It's one of my favorite racers up there with Ridge Racer but I hardly even register the music when in races since I'm more focused with not grinding walls.

Something really cool happened today!

An artist reached out to me after seeing my game and offered to make music for it. I honestly wasn’t expecting anything so soon, but he surprised me by creating a brand new track specifically for my trailer.

Hi, I’m playing Wipeout 64 for the first time, and oh my goodness, this game is hard. Through where determination, I’ve beaten the race and time trial challenges with all golds, but I don’t know where to even start with the weapon challenges.

I’m on Weapon Challenge 2, and the 7 kills needed is ridiculous. The opponents don’t die. At least not consistently. Sometimes they die in one missile, otherwise they can go a whole lap without dying. I don’t understand it. Can anyone help?

I spent a bit of time yesterday afternoon looking through the PS3 Store's available Themes. There's several that are actually free. Three of them are for wipEout HD. There's also a cool one for wipEout Fury, but it costs $2.99 (I bought it).

Please note I'm located in the USA, so your availability my vary. Also, the search bar doesn't work at all for me anymore, so you might have to scroll manually to find these, which is really irritating.
