Hey everyone. I’m in the process of becoming a team lead and I’m going to the ServSafe study class put on by my regional manager tomorrow (actually later today).

However, there was a big mixup and we realized that I haven’t done my ServSafe videos on workday because of some prerequisite videos on workday not wanting to go away. I’ve talked to my management team over the past few months and even called hr (no answer) and we can’t seem to get the videos “pushed through”. So, my ServSafe videos won’t show up, and therefore I haven’t done the ServSafe packet. I was told that I may get sent home because of it, because you are supposed to do the packet beforehand. Is this true??

I’m a team lead at a franchise Whataburger. I’m trying to get roughly three weeks of time off in December so I can visit my long distance partner over Christmas and my birthday. We don’t currently have an OP, and my restaurant manager can’t (to my knowledge) approve anything longer than two weeks at a time. I have asked my market leader (formerly known as area coach) about the time off and explained my situation, but I have literally not gotten a reply all week. Is there something else I need to go through? Is this an HR ask? We don’t use Workday and that system will terminate you after 21 days anyway. Any advice on being approved as well? I am a picky eater, I get a double cheeseburger, plain and dry, every time I eat at whataburger, and every time they get it wrong. Either they interpret “plain and dry” as a burger with only two patties and buns, no cheese at all; or they only put one slice of cheese on the double cheeseburger, emphasis on the DOUBLE CHEESE!

When I order the same exact thing at McDonalds, Wendys, Sonic, Dairy Queen, literally anywhere else, they give me a double cheeseburger with buns, two patties, and two slices of cheese!

Why can’t Whataburger get this right? I asked a friend of mine who worked there in high school and she said that when you ask for my order, that’s literally how they interpret it, tow buns and two patties, nothing else. It’s dumb, like really dumb.

Here is an updated sheet from the one I posted last week. Credit to everyone that uploaded the coupons. I’m just throwing them on a single sheet with a white background to make it easier to scan. Don’t have time to go and label each one… so use it or don’t.

Some time last week I tried scanning in some coupons that had been posted here. As many people noted in the comments of those posts, I was able to scan the barcode and the app would say “coupon added successfully” but then when I went to the coupon section it wouldn’t show them.

Then a couple days ago someone made a posts that all those coupons previously scanned had suddenly populated in the app. I checked for myself and sure enough they were there! Yay! Except…later in the day when I actually wanted to use one of the coupons, I tried opening the app and I never got past the start up screen (orange screen with the logo) before the app crashed.

I made sure my phone software as well as the app were fully up to date and still couldn’t get the app to load. Just now I decided to delete the app completely off my phone and redownload it. Which fixed the issue and I was able to open the app and sign back in. Except now going to the coupons I get the pop up that a system error occurred and the coupons are not showing again.

It really just feels like they’re crashing the app so people can’t redeem multiple coupons in a short time.

For the first time this year, I finally got a mailer! And that means I have barcodes to share. I hope these work, I've been hearing an awful lot about them not going through.

Okay! Apparently these don't work on the app. Lesson learned. Backup plan:

I managed to rescue 8 of these (apart from the 2 I want for myself), so if someone wants them, I'll just...mail them the flyer.

For those who want to know how I got the mailer? Hey, me too! After close to a year of trying everything under the sun, it just randomly showed up one day.

I’m sure it’s a stupid question. Right now, when I see a good coupon I save the image, text it to someone else with me, then scan the bar code on their phone. It’s a huge hassle. Any better ways? (I’m using iPhone)

Op or corporate refuses to advertise. Now, they cutting hours. Is this normal? Half the staff looking for new jobs.

Ive received free meals like patty melt, fries, drink, and any other sandwich meal you can think of on the menu. $0 dollars to redeem.

I never complained to corporate, so these are just random generous occurrences. Although every free meal coupon did come with an expiration date in my offers section.

I just found it interesting because I live with a family member and they never recieved these free meal coupons. One key factor here is they go to that whataburger far more often than I ever do. Its also within 1 mile away from us if that matters.

I know I’m late to the game but I noticed Whataburger has two different spicy ketchups. One with hot sauce and one with jalapeño. What is the OG one? When they first released it.

are we confirmed that it is not from Argentina? I am concerned bc prion cannot simply be cooked off the grill. So any burger would remain contaminated even if well done. The brand is also owned by private equity so the cheapest source possible is often favored

I noticed it added 3 coupons for Whatachicken, and probably half of those coupons didn’t work

So tonight as I was about to go redeem one of the Whatachicken coupons, I opened the app to order online and to my surprise I found out now not only do I still have the Whatachicken, but now I have TWO Bacon Wrangler Double 🥹

I don’t know if it’s from the same stack of coupons, since they don’t come with names, just the barcodes and serial numbers, but as I said, a few of them said they weren’t valid or that they have been previously added, and a few other seemed to work but wasn’t showing up on the app, except for the 3 Whatachicken, so I’m wondering if the BCD were also part of that stack and they finally loaded

Anyways, if you excuse me, I’m gonna get me one : )

Does anyone know the date open enrollment starts? And how do I know if I qualify? In the past they gave you the packet at work but idk if they still do that
